I know of a good Christian brother (A Born again, A Deeper Life member) who has passion for rap music and he raps gospel songs. That is his passion and way of worshiping God. Would we say he is on a wrong path...? Truly, I wouldn't know if rap is a style from the pit of hell...which I doubt. However, there is one thing I would like to add and that is.. 'fire' which could be so destructive to homes, because it has the tendency to raze down any structure, could as well be utilised to bring out the best in our food, etc (cooking). Methinks, It depends on usuage.. God could use diverse channel to pass on His message. As Christians, we need be conscious of His leading and be definite that we are on the right edge. You don't do rap because everyone is doing it..

My brother no matter how you say it rap music is never acceptable unto the lord. We are to go back to the old standards in the old/new testament, can you find any where in the scriptures where rap music was used in worshipping God?
