Yea we will bear with the economic downturn prevailing everywhere in the nation while you collect your salary in a stable dollars rate. We have been bearing for 15years and I think 1 more year won't be too much to bear with before we kick you and your voodoo economic theory out. You were there during obasanjo and there during Jonathan yet in all those years despite your professorial competence from harvard you can come out to put out this rubbish yet you have spent close to 10years as the minister of finance. It's so sad that these 'rulers' continue to deceive Nigerians with all sorts of voodoo economy and figures, while the youths on this forum fight themselves over these politicians. You guys seems to be more interested over religious ( as if there's anything like that in heaven) and tribal affiliation rather than confront your future, which to my opinion, is in danger. You guys should be asking what happened to the revenue of $470B in 5years; what has the government done; what's on ground to show for this money. Rather, the $22B that was in the buffer account has been depleted just as the reserve of $47B savings. You guys should refused been used, your future is at stake here. These people are deceiving you. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala is an enigma of some sort. The manner in which she breaks down macro and micro economic registers to understanding of pepper sellers, illiterates and the educated is very prudent. Facts: Nigeria depends solely on oil, a product we can not control the pricing. When I was young and naive, I was told Nigeria is rich and I believed it, because I didnt think wide. Now, if anything tells me Nigeria is rich, I will say, its a lie. No country survives on a limited resource for ever, when and if Oil dries up, then Nigeria will face a shock that can not be recovered from, unless we diversify now, unless we refocus on other things now. How much is Bill Gates worth, How much is Slim worth ? And how much is Nigeria's external reserve even from the 1960s till date. GEJ has opened up the economy, making it transparent for all to see. Buhari says he wants to fight corruption, but ask him in what way he will diversify us from Oil, I am sure he will have no response. My thought is now that this govt has ransacked that account with less than $2b left, which money will your govt be spending this time that a 2007 2008 financial dejavu is iminent.. Nonychinonso:it is like you were born two hours ago. Are you a farmer? what stops you from being one? typical African mentality, always waiting for food is ready. Do you thinks it's free? go into the fields and join others in farming. As for me I am currently outside Nigeria, I used to have a shop but I gave it to somebody else to manage because I wanted to learn auto electricity and electronics and go back to Nigeria and establish myself in Nigeria, I know Nigerians have the money and lot of luxury cars. I want to be in Nigeria right now. There is an over supply of university degrees but jobs that need skills and knowledge do not have many people going into it because of what their teachers and parents wanting to railroad their children into what they do not have the talent or desire of. That will also help us to understand the cheap lies of the oPposition led parties on the state of the ruling government. In other words... Those increases and improvements show BIG opportunities... ACTION:: Stop complaining, SIT DOWN and THINK about how this portrayed growth will bring growth to my own pocket or business... Think about how to improve your present product or business or how to start a new service... You will be surprised that in years to come, this WOMAN you are all abusing will be called back to serve as a minister of Finance and Economic Coordinator AGAIN (if Jesus Tarries)...
