last year was Pokello a Zim socialite. Sulu brother of the Zam VP, Bev a video vixen, Melvin a GUS/Mr. Nigeria runner-up. Cleo, a famous rapper, Dillish and Maria, ex-beauty queens. Hakeem a model, Bassey an actor. Elikem a celeb tailor/actor, Feza a famous TZ musician, O'neal a DJ from Bots, Selly an ex-beauty queen, Angelo a dance instructor(that even tutored on MDA, a Nigerian family dance show). These people aren't even famous, they're nobodies compared to the set last year, only Macky2 is famous here cuz I didn't know Tayo or Lillian before this show. The problem with the show is that they brought people who've watched the show too much and know the workings so much that they're playing TOO safe. Butterphly said Tayo would never win even if fans love him, why? Cuz she knows the game is regional having studied under Pokello so the likes of she and Macky2 can sleep all day knowing SADC got them
True story...

Also, what's the point of Nigeria sending a rep to the show if said person won't win simply because he's from the country that has won 3 times? They now give quotas for the show?

I'm sick of reading "Naija has won 3 times, so they should allow others win"...if na so, make we kuku withdraw from the show because it's unfair that a deserving person won't win because his country has won 3 times. There really is no point in our presence if we're just sending reps to make up the numbers and sign 'present' knowing he/she can never win. Even more reason why we should boycott the show

I think the selection of countries for BBA is based on viewership . The organisers are also out to make money. I think the SADC countries are better than other regions wen it comes to viewership. In the whole of WA, i think its just Nigeria and Ghana. If only other WA countries can show more interest dat wuld hv made it even for the different regions. But if Nigeria decides to pull out, it will affect the show because we have the largest viewership in africa.

mehn if JJ and his team don't win, and the guy doesn't get some seriously high number of nominations, I will spend everything to go to Zimbabwe and meet his babalawo.

JJ's team is now arguing with him. The guy dey vex/para cos something about the creative process and ideas and something some team members did is itching him and he is saying he is stepping back and he is angry with the team in general and someone in particular (haven't caught who) and idris, kc, 265 and luis are trying to convince him to become the direct and create and be a leader and not shut of his creativity. He is complaining that he doesn't want to develop another person's idea cos they will feel like he is colonising their idea and blah boo hoo undecided

Frankie gossiping with Spermicious about Tayo. I think permithius is complaining about something Tayo did, and Frankie is going over past stories and stuff and the sum total of what he is saying is that permicous should confront him cos he is a "smart kid", but he doesn't understand boundaries and perming shorts needs to set the boundaries and let him know that he is not cool with whatever he does and eish

Frankie is not doing a bad thing... I think what he is saying is true..Permi needs to stand up for himself..Anyway, If KC doesn't get Naija vote, Frankie would be getting it

DStv is a luxury in most African countries, its only for the super rich. So the average man on the street can rather buy breadand milk than to subscribe for DStv. In many countries, subscribers numbers are even less than 10 000. Countries like mali, mauritania, ivory coast, burkina faso, cameroon, congo, togo, benin, niger, so it wont make any good business to select someone from those countries.

I would think Cameroon should be here over Moz. Trezagah has no idea what this show is about sef. How exactly is Moz here and Cameroon isn't? How did Liberia come in Season 7 before a Cameroon that has more people viewing the show? How is Rwanda here before same Cameroon? The entire idea of participation by viewership is flawed if Cameroon has never made it. I maintain that if the organisers must continue the voting pattern of one country per vote, they must give equal participation of each region. Else switch to voting by popularity, it's not fair that Tayo fans in SA have been rendered useless because they have been out voted by 1 or 2% and same goes for Frankie fans in Nigeria

we can ask for Big Brother Nigeria, SA just had BBMzansi that they're still raving over. BBN gave us the likes of Ebuka and Gideon who are still relevant after 9 years. 2 of the most successful Big Brother products on the continent. Let's take a break next year, have our own BB and let the other Africans slug it out without the millions of Nigerians 'imposing' their reps on others

Finally, Idris seems 2 av gotten over his heart break. He dropped a bomb when he stated: “I went for D wrong girl. I realize that she wanted someone with less yet I have more so I have to find my league.”

It may have taken eternity for him to realize that Goitse wasn’t into accepting his pleas but at least @ last he did n shared wit Biggie that he was now thinking with his head and not his heart.

Samantha and Ella brought un the Dillish strategy; Be nice to everyine, flirt with the guys and you will escape nominations. Idris brought in the scorned loverboy tactis; toast a babe and if she doesn't agree lose your mind and act up.

Butterphly said Tayo would never win even if fans love him, why? Cuz she knows the game is regional having studied under Pokello so the likes of she and Macky2 can sleep all day knowing SADC got them.....this all boils down to the fact that organisers made the show uneven

Absolutely true.

We talked about Big Bro fielding relatively known people as housemates last year and i personally suggested that I would like to see random and unknown people as housemates. Its cos of complexities like these.

@14,
I blame this years dull aura in the BB house to Esther and Lillian's early eviction. Imagine the house with this duo. I can guarantee it will not be this dull. The dull aura may still be linked with fielding housemates that play too safe cos of their marital or parental status and also cos they are oldies. Do you really think someone like butterphly or Sabina would fork in the house even if they wanted to? But imagine them in the house about 8 years ago still single and without kids, they will be much less restrained then if they want to fork in the house than now.

Summary:
Biggie should give us unknown, young and single housemates next year. They should be without kids and preferrably within the ages of 21 and 30. Its the juvenile delinquencies that makes this show click. Most of the housemates now are way past that phase in their lives. So what will anyone expect with the current housemates?
