I don't trust this Salkida guy. He sound more like a Boko Haram information agent, briefing people about activities of the Demons in human form - Boko Haram.
BTW, there's no excuse whatsoever for a Group to kill thousands of innocent people for a stupid cause, a religious one at that. None!! Boko haram are murderers and they all deserve to be Shot on the head.

The only way is for the government to be more proactive and for the leaders of the north to work towards solvimg this prblm the way they work toward accumulating wealth.

Chike Orjiako asks questions on the activities of Boko Haram.

"I 've asked this question before and I will keep asking until I get a satisfactory answer " who owns the fuel station where this guy's refuel their vehicle?"

Who provides them food including other logistics?

If hunger could be used as legitimate instrument of war to subdue Biafra, what's stopping the Nigerian authorities from applying this time tested weapon on an illegitimate war?

Somethings really beat my imagination. Am a victim of the Biafran onslaught and keep wondering if the terms of war have changed ? Somebody please help me?

Nigerian soldiers running away from this rag tag army without base?

Can't we unleash the entire Nigerian army on these guys and get done with this matter once and for all?

Certain things make me weak. Nigeria now depends on lesser countries to defend us ..countries whose very survival in all regards depends on us?

Haba. ..how much lower can we sink?

Any smart and enlightened person would understand the danger at hand - I am more worried about Nigeria becoming the next " Syria " where foreign jihadists would come in and commit grade A degradation of human - This scares the crap outta me.

There is truly fire on the mountain but few seem to be on run. undecided

I dont want to turn this to a political matter but here is my opinion. What is stopping the Commander-in-Chief to destroy Boko Haram since 2012? What is actually stopping GEJ?

Although, it's been said BH is not politically driven but i feel otherwise. It's Politics and a deadly one at that.

A new war is on the horizon and nobody is safe, we need to drop political affiliations and come out to say enough of wanton destruction of lives and properties, molesting and kidnapping of women and children, forceful conversion of people.

Unfortunately most of the dim-wit-blame-it-all-on Jonathan, would be too lazy to read through. Am not a pro Jonathan but he is not our first bad president as we have not been lucky as a country or in Africa generally with leaders.

Terrorism is a Global thing and only countries with advanced intelligence group like CIA, MI6, KGB or Mossad can quell them.

Expecting GEJ to conquer terrorism is almost like asking us to go to the moon

The Northern politicians thought they could use it to discredit the current government by making the country ungovernable but their executors had a more sinister plan.

Anyone who thinks this government is totally incompetent due to the current insecurity has been check mated and is exactly were the northern politicians want you to be.

I know the government can do better but we are all a corrupt bunch, the extra funding to fight terrorism has made most military personnel very rich.

This has nothing to do with 'Northern Politicians'.

The government has been largely ineffective and have failed in the times when we needed strong leadership. That is a fact.

I suggest a special national conference that will hear the views of all stakeholders on this matter consisting of nor govs, clerics, northerners in the military, academics and traditional rulers, an open dialogue with BH should hold because GEJ has failed nigerians on this matter since from the beginning and our military cot'n to be overwhelm by the day, the earlier the better before we go the somalia way.

this is a wonderful analysis. this thread would be used as a reference for those who still think this is a Muslim

Is it that you didn't read the post or you chose to be daft?

They're pushing islam to its core. Their ideas not talling with yours doesn't make it not being 'islam'.

Afterall you guys have sunni and shi'a islam just like we have catholic, pentecostal etc.

Deal with the problem at hand and stop playing the blame game

Boko Haram is an aberration, yes, they claim to follow Islam but their ideas and actions could very easily have pushed them out of the fold. And Allah knows best.

It is an unintelligent, shallow interpretation based on a cultish mentality. They reject intellectual refutations based on the Quran and sunnah because their actions can not stand up to it.

That is the problem.

Boko Haram holds a territory bigger than many african countries, we have to begin to recognize the seriousness of this problem, now.

na you go house them for south? abi na you go hide them? They only thrive where they have support. Let me ask you , will you welcome your brother home after he goes out to kill people in Allah's name. if you answer is no then understand that people up in the islamic north can and will do this in support of Jihad and so Boko h is succeeding. who will hide them in the south? they will quickly be exposed and isolated for punishment.

Boko Haram fights to have Nigeria as a country governed by Islamic Sharia criminal laws. From 2000, about 12 Northern state governors adopted use of sharia criminal codes. The majority Muslim population in the 12 states joyfully welcomed use of sharia criminal laws in the 12 staes. Only Nigeria's political elite can decide how to end the Boko insurgency.

They don't need anyone to house them, they have guns.... the people who fail to flee tge areas, they capture are subjected to their rule.

That, is quite understandable but doesn't make them any less of an islam.

You wouldn't debate that most of what they believe in are islamic laws. We have them in our own bible.

It is up to the individual to decide what he follows and up to other people to respect those views; And the only difference between BH and other moslems is the later
