That's good for you Oobidike. I saw the N2500 entry fee on facebook where the notice came from and that comment came from the guy who put it up himself. If they didn't collect money good for you. That means they must have changed their minds. I have gone to a few auditions in the past where the producers made a quick turn around when they tried introducing a fee for their auditions based on the reactions. If people react strongly against this ugly trend many producers will beat a hasty retreat. When people go for job interviews they don't ask you to pay do they? Let's do the same for our industry and disabuse people's mind that it's a norm. It is not normal to pay to render your services to the producer who will make financial gain off it.

May I say something here. Be careful about auditions with no physical address because a lot of danger lurks in them. I was told last week about some actors who were robbed of their belongings when they physically responded to an audition notice like this. If u respond to such and are told to come to a location, try to get as much info as u can about the venue and the job itself. If possible some days to the audition go to the physical venue and snoop around. Find out the names of those involved in such auditions and check their antecedents.
