Anyhow.. the scale of the venture is still ahead
Still a lot of work to be done

You are correct but also now everyone knows what type of money we are talking about,at least an idea.

That sum is shocked lets just keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best, not forgetting to pray alongside.

You people are getting ahead of yourselves here. Why not just wait for the test results before jumping the gun?

Are you that desperate for his health to be bad? Cos that's what this seem like. You are not even hoping for the best, you are already assuming the worst.

I know there is somebody out there that can make a difference, and I believe that person is reading this post. Please if you can or you know somebody who can, don't hesitate. May God bless every person that has taken it upon his/hersalf to see DJ well.

That was my motivation to make that email public

You honestly believe that the hospital won't have a specialist if there is a need to fly him out? What's with you people?

Yes, seeing how much has been realised do far, somebody said the excess should be used to help others, but now it's obvious we have only just started, but God that brought us thus far will see this a success.

I know
My email is not sending email so I have no other way to send it
Moreover the public needs to have a fair idea of cost, they are the donors

But the results are not even out yet! undecided

How can you even say a thing like that? Getting prepared for the worse doesn't mean anyone wants his health to be bad. Its wicked to even say that to people who have been working tirelessly to make sure Hammed recovers. I think its wise so as not to be caught off guard because no one knows what the outcome of the test will be.

This is no time for criticisms dear
I don't know if you have followed this or coming in at the middle.
There were three teams created for three specific purposes
Team B was created for finding out facts from India and this is in line with that
What is better, being told by the VI hospital and we start making plans or being prepared for it already based on diagnosis from Eruwa and LUTH?

I doubt that many of you actually appreciate the urgency here
Remember there is a working diagnosis from other doctors he saw at LUTH and Eruwa
Why do we have to wait last minute to begin making plans?
Should he need a transplant, as the eruwa doctor said according to a statement from someone who went there, posted here earlier, that is the estimate for liver.

Isn't this what was mandated for team B or am I missing something?

I hate all these criticisms

Lord have mercy. Nothing is impossible. Miracles still happen. I know God will make away. But come to think of it if 20,000 of us decide to send in our recharge card money for a week (@500) that will go along way. I don't think widows penny is doing much again o. What tests? He left LUTH cos he could not afford the tests.

The tests at Eruwa were inconclusive. I doubt you even looked to find out who the doctor at Eruwa is. He is known for his research in alternative medical methods (BBC did a special on him once) so I won't take those tests anywhere.

If you ask me, this will be the first tests we can use. Now relax and wait for the results then we know what to do next

I am doing exactly what i would do for my own brother
Get estimates and prepare for the worst case scenario so i will be ready to move him out as soon as i realize that is the next option.

You better shut your mouth up right this moment
If you promise the house here that you will take this part over,i will disclose the phone number and email of fortis including that of the surgeon to you and take myself out.
This is my last warning

From day one i made this clear this man needed a transplant and i haven't changed from that stand

Do you want me to disclose the summary from eruwa?
The man is trained physician
DJ has decompensated CLD
I said it on the first pages of the other thread and the doctor says the same thing
What other treatment is there for a decompensated CLD and massive ascites.
I feel like i am having a conversation with illiterates

It is best to be prepared which is what Nigerians that has supported this young man has done.
Lets commend the TEHN team for this selfless service to humanity they are doing.

We are hoping for the best and preparing for the worst also.
Would it be wise to stop raising funds all because we believe and hope for the best?

We don't need labs to have differentials

Hyperactivity gets the job done,my employer just gave me an award for that hyperactivity FYI
That is why i went into medicine and you didn't
I am trained to anticipate and prepare for things before they happen so i am not taken unawares
This young man is not your family member so you don't care much about him really
You are merely interested in appearing intelligent online
If you did care, you would not disparage people trying to help him
He is not my family either but i have adopted him as one and care deeply about him and i am doing exactly what i would if he were my brother.

Hey, who are you by the way? Enemy of progress?

A fellow brother is in the hospital seeking urgent help and medical attention and you're here trying to dissuade people who have not met the patient in question before, but donating their hard earned money for him

You better move on and watch your utterances.

Let me ask you? Is it till the doctor says what he is suffering from before we start running helter skelter to solicit for funds..why can't we plan ahead or is it a bad idea. ?

If I may ask, have you being on the hospital bed for more than 3months or bedridden for 1 month? You ain't,if you have, you will shut your gut as she rightly said and pray for your brother even if you don't have a dime to contribute.

For heavens sake, appreciate these guys, they are what we need to move Nigeria to the next step.

Remember, nobody knows tomorrow. .!

God bless you guys

Get well soon djdola.

This is in bad taste.

3 teams where set up
Team 1 to move him from Eruwa to a hospital in Lagos.
Team 2 to find out approximate cost of moving him to India (if the need arises)
Team 3 to raise funds.

So babyosisi is very much in order.

Madam Internet doctor would you please refrain from this your direct "attacks and insults?
Were you not the same person appealing to idowuogbo earlier on? Sometimes I wonder how you relate with your patients if truly you are a doctor in the US.
Someone spoke his mind and you tell him to shut up cos you are the custodian of knowledge? If u have a superior argument you have to give superior opinions and not shout him down.
