slinkky: Check if the sensor mounted on top of the coolant expansion container is still connected, connector corroded or connector well plug in. Otherwise, the sensor would be the suspect. Ikenna |

Ikenna351: Well depending on ur fone i think cos i operate a school group on watsapp and wen i was using bb, my watsap group could only accomodate 50. But wen i got a tab and i migrated my watsapp account on bb to the tab, the number is 100. My conclusion is it depends on the fone or watspp version u are using |

Hello Guys. My peugeot 306 Auto xu10 engine has been shorting engine oil for sometime now without any visible leakage point or droppings under the car. Even when I top it, it shorts again after few days. Pls what could be the culprit? |
Re: Peugeot: Cars With Attitude! by Ikenna351(m): 1:31pm On Nov 27, 2014 |

2013 Peugeot 2008 ! Good car! In the automotive industry - as in many other aspects of life - size is everything. Of course, that was until "the larger the better" mantra got sideswiped by the efficiency beast. Now, automakers everywhere are sticking their nose up at the larger than life models and switching to "compact SUVs" to boost their sales. Peugeot is just one of these automakers clamoring to get a hold of the market with their new Peugeot 2008. The model will be unveiled in March at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The new 2008 crossover is based on the 208 hatchback from which it borrows the front grille and the front and rear lights. Unlike the hatchback however, the ride and driving positions have been raised so that the 2008 will offer improved off-road capabilities. Engine line-up will also be borrowed from the 208, but will add a new 3-cylinder petrol engine that will allow the 2008 to deliver a CO2 emission of just 99g/km. |

Ikenna351:yes. What do u advise. |
Re: Peugeot: Cars With Attitude! by Ikenna351(m): 2:32pm On Nov 28, 2014 |
filcast: Well, you can try that, since its much cheaper than replacing the engine. But usually, failed valve seals will emit blue when you start the car first time and would clear after few minutes. If it doesn't fix the shortage, then you know the solution. That's my opinion. Ikenna |

Hello house, Please I need an idea of how much I can get the brake disks of my peugeot 207, and the brake pads too. Also, how do I know the genuine ones?? I would appreciate it if u state the name of the product manufacturer or the label name. NOTE: 207 might share the same parts with 307 so if u have an idea of how much the 307 parts cost please let me know. Thanks. |

oba009: From your post, your mind is telling you the truth, only that you dont want to accept it. First, that Lion is not 2000 model. Its D8 (phase 1 406). The production stopped in 1998. He said the engine is turbo charged, can we see the engine bay picture? In fact, can you get the VIN of the car? Better still, steer clear of that vehicle. Ikenna |

Re: Peugeot: Cars With Attitude! by Ikenna351(m): 7:17am On Dec 08, 2014 |
hoodboy: 607 is a very nice Lion. I highly recommend it. The engine type will determine the auto transmission model. Which engine are you interested in? Good morning. Ikenna |
Re: Peugeot: Cars With Attitude! by hoodboy(m): 9:10am On Dec 08, 2014 |

Re: Peugeot: Cars With Attitude! by Ikenna351(m): 10:45am On Dec 08, 2014 |
hoodboy: I can help find out. Get the VIN. It's a 17 digit number. It will start with VF39... Meanwhile, is it Tokunbo or Nigerian used? Ikenna |
Re: Peugeot: Cars With Attitude! by hoodboy(m): 6:28pm On Dec 08, 2014 |
Ikenna351: Nigerian used, looks clean though |
Re: Peugeot: Cars With Attitude! by Ikenna351(m): 5:26am On Dec 09, 2014 |
hoodboy: How clean it looks means less for a Nigerian used Lion, if the systems has been abused, especially the electrics. So you need to thoroughly inspect the Lion to be sure, at least, the electrics has not been abused to a large extent or at all. Even if it can be sorted out if abused, but you need to know the state of these things before you jump in. Trust me, Nigerians abuse their Lions with impunity. I know this because I handle them on daily basis. Notwithstanding, get the VIN and lets start from there. Ikenna |

Ikenna351: Hello ikenna, today i went to look at that 607, the mileage is too high 239k, plus it jerks sort of when you put it in reverse (not a good sign)though it is aesthetically okay, but the mileage is discouraging |

Please where is the coil pack located on Peugeot 307, and any adverse effect of driving a car with faulty coil park. |
Re: Peugeot: Cars With Attitude! by Ikenna351(m): 9:24pm On Dec 30, 2014 |
unleashed123: You need to first state what engine is it. 307 doesn't come with one engine model or type. Notwithstanding, if its petrol engine, TU engine or EW10 engine, the coil pack is mounted on the cylinder head. But the engine model will determine what covers the coil pack which would need to be removed before you can see the coil. A failed coil pack will give cylinder(s) misfire or rough idling. Depending on the extent of the failure, could make a car stall and not start again until replaced. Ikenna |

Hi fellows! Glad to join this wonderful forum of lion owners. l found this forum last three days and mad it upon myself to read all the threads. My appreciation to lkenna for his selfless service. However, last week my lion started overheating with the stop sign beeping. A mechanic detected a faulty fan and made me replaced it. Having gone through this forum from page 1, l now realised that the man had connect the fan to work non stop and ofcours removed the t stat. I now suffer from all the attendant effects of his actions as mentioned by lkenna in many of his post. Can anybody pls name a place l can scan my lion in Jos?
