There are no smart genes so the question of who you got intelligence from is pure and utter rubbish. Genes work mostly in as off/on switch. Proteins are activated which then send signals to the gene which is now turned on. So my brother it depends. It depends on environmental factors, experiences, etc. The playing field ain't level for everyone.

Well, research has it that the gene can be gotten from both sides. But wat matters most is the push. I knw of an individual who repeated twice in secondary school, but finished with a first class in the University, so d push is important. Nobody is dull, it's all about maximizing your potential.
