The transmitter remote handset final pcb

Pls note that the design has been modified to only 4 channel to reduce cost. If ure building this you can make use of all the 12 channel as designed in the full circuit diagram.

LED light emitting diodes has been added on the final pcb to know the state of each of the relay. This is not shown in the ciruit diagram

The antenna can be designed as pcb path or use seperate external antenna which could be a short length of wire.

For longer distance increase the no of battery but take note of the microcontroller working voltage.

The 4channel receiver and transmitter final pcb

Result
The design has been tested and was found to meet the expected result. It can control wirelessly up to 4 devices at the same time. The range of 10m is achieved if one is using 3v battery for powering the transmitter circuit. For longer distance the batteries can be connected in series to achieve up to 12v , but in this case you have to introduce an ic regulator into your transmitter so as to protect the microcontroller pic16f84. Pic16f84 can only work within 4 to 6v any higher voltage will destroy it

Hello everyone......

@op.
Are you facing some challenges with your project or what? If this be the case, then I ask you share the problem so some of us with little idea can help. Cheers...

Modified:

Sorry, never read your last post. Good to see you got it up and running...

@acorntree.
This's how Africans must start thinking for us to flee from technological slavery and poverty cause only science can solve the poverty problem of a nation. Until African children can be able to conceptualize science, we are going no way. Imagine having your entire community learn how to build circuits and they learn it using your native language. That would be the beginning of prosperity for that community. Unfortunately, only very few hold this knowledge.

Keep it up!. Be patient, I'll be able to help people like you source research funds in future. Believe me.

The truth is, we hardly have true researchers/ scholars resident in Nigeria and willing to give back. I come across internet copycats posing as researcher. Conceptualizing science requires ground-up application of mathematics in embedded programming. Imagine some builds analog inverter copied from magazine, despite being an EE graduate of 4years could not define frequency and differentiate from Period. Not to mention Duty Cycle. Cramming & copying without understanding won't take us anywhere.

Go to SEDI, you'll weep. They are doing not badly in Mechanical construction, but automation and control, digitalization is almost not existent in 21st century.. Thank God for independent young programmers in web & mobile Technologies catching up.

Op, I'll appreciate your analysis of source code, starting from number systems, as used in computing.

OP, this is a great thread.
Can you post the procedure & materials you use in making PCB please?
All the projects I have worked on I use veroboard, although people always say I'm good with it, I want to upgrade to PCB because of its relative ease of making & time effectiveness. Thanks.

Yes, conceptualizing not only Mathematics but also Physics, Chemisty, Biology is the key to science. And that's what I've been clamouring for ages. I've even made a song off it.
Please read the below link on my signature, I've explained everything Africa need to move forward in science and technology and it's perfectly in line with your suggestion. I can tell you're a true science guy.

True. But if its too cumbersome in the beginning, the many people you wish will take part will become less interested.
This way, when many catch on to it, the exceptionally curious minds will go a step further into the number systems and thorough mathematics of programming/computing.

Seun, your mods will do well in promoting more threads like this.

Op thanks for such educative thread, my question is this, I see 1 transistor & 1 ic in that PCB, did u program the ic & how did u get the perfect transistor for the board?

2) The equipment u earlier mentioned, how much will it cost to get them?

3) Is PCB available in the market?

4) The remote sensor is it available in the market?

Thanks in advance for ur reply
