Remember 1188? I took a buy there last night but I was feeling rather chicken so I closed it before i went to bed at +13 pips. I just checked my chart now to see that I would have been up +300 pips Same thing happened on oil, I had a morning meeting and I thought I'd wait until after the meeting only by the time I got back it's already up 145 pips from the level where I wanted to enter at and finally on DJIA I thought it would sell last night but then decided to wait until after FOMC, after which I saw a resistance broken. Rather than buy the breakout immediately, I thought I should wait till market open this morning, got back from my meeting to see it is now 200 pips from the breakout level.

Anyway, another breakout level at 59.00 on oil, I will be watching that one now

Back in the day when I was still a newbie, when what I posted above happens, I would immediately jump into the trades because I did not want to miss out, sometimes it worked, most times it didn't. But I am grateful that I have learnt to overcome such impulses and learnt that there is no such thing as a missed opportunity in trading, you may miss one, another one that's just as juicy or juicier will be along before you know it. Between the time that I posted the quote above and now - exactly two hours, oil has shed a 100 pips, gold 80 pips and DJIA 30 pips. If I had jumped right in like I used to, I'd be over 200 pips in red!

Bought oil, as long as 57.60 is not broken to the downside, it should be a good trade

Hmmm, 2day look somehow.

my bias remain BULLISH since price above dt 55.55. but i notice price continue closing below 58.27 zone ( dt 2009 support dt turn resistance) since dt yesterday high

which ever way i dey watxh on d sideline till my time come. no lelee

^ 60.xx is quite possible by close of trading tomorrow.

Hmmm...........

we learn new thing on each trade we take everyday. i have learn from d closed trade earlier when i doubt d magic 58.2x zone can do "bank 32pips instead of 240pips move"

now i face with choice of follow down on d cycle break or rejection of 55.55 zone.

i will follow d cycle break and see what to learn next
