[b]today, I travelled to the east to get something. I'm spending the night at a family friend's place. I just woke up and you won't believe what interrupted my sleep. the bed is on one end, and the socket, on the other end, so earlier this evening, I sat on the floor there, charging my phone and using it, for a while. I soon fell asleep on the floor. From dreamland, I could feel something rubbing my arm slightly ...this was going on for a few seconds as I couldn't process what was happening yet until more parts of my brain woke up, When they did, I immediately flung my arms and opened my eyes..still lying down... It took some seconds for my eyes to adjust to the poor lighting and me to recognize what was staring back at me. I had concluded it must have been a cockroach. It was a scorpion! I immediately recoiled in shock ...the arachnid ran away due to my sudden movement. By the time I was fully alert and remembered where I was, the scorpion had disappeared into the darkness. I'm on the bed now  But seriously, what if I moved my hand slowly and it stung me  I don't even want to start to imagine. My point is, please, try to avoid sleeping on the floor, I'm glad I didn't have to learn the hard way. Wish me safe journey on my way back today  [/b]4 Likes 2 Shares |

It's a good thing you weren't stung by the scorpion hence I wonder how quickly you'd have gotten any form of 'ANTI-VENOM'! Anyway, goodluck and do have a safe trip back home today... |

Thank your stars you weren't stung else you would have felt the most excruciating pain ever. I had such experience during my teen when playing on some abandoned blocks. |
