I am scared stiff of marriage but my fear is not borne out of a fear of what I will miss but the fear of getting involved with someone who would make my life hellish.

I don't think you should be scared of losing your present family. I don't see any reason why you should give up your family because of marriage.

My take is that in marriage I am granted the opportunity of expanding my family base. So it's more about what I stand to gain than lose.

The problem only comes when your gain is a negative, such that your positive footing will become compromised by the negative.

If you have all these fears and anxieties about marriage.. Ma'm I think it's best you remain single.

There are many people who live through life, happy and die single.

So you may want to consider that option.

Marriage is strictly a choice and from all what's you've said, I think you're too self absorbed to think of marriage.

I think you are still young and childish.

I will also put selfish to it because you want everybody to do this and that for you, you want everybody to understand you flimsy excuses which are mostly plastics, You just know only yourself but that's because you are still single.

If you continue with this mindset and get married then your marriage might crash before it even starts.

Advice: if you ever choose to marry(marriage is a choice not a must), have in mind that many people own you and you owe many people...you might not always have your way.

if you are scared then don't marry. Why do what you are scared of?
