My heart bleeds every time I see youths canvassing support for Gen. Buhari.

P.S. nothing in this post should be interpreted as my endorsing GEJ for 2015.

Frankly, I believe both men are too poor to lead Nigeria. Let us assume that indeed the youths are the future of tomorrow. When Buhari seized power from the barrel of the gun in 1983, some of our parents had not met, not gotten married, talk less of knowing that their children will be born. Then, as a 41 year old man, Buhari may have told our parents that they are the future of tomorrow. 31 years and 3 generations thereafter, a 72 year old Buhari stands up for elections again. Now as at then, he still wants us to believe the youths are the leaders of tomorrow. If we assume he wins the election, I can believe he will run a second term in 2019 (having promised not to contest in 2015, you can understand if I don't believe him if he says he will not contest again in 2019). Nigeria may then have the enviable opportunity of being led by an 80 year old President!!

Mathematicians please tell me: if today is not the tomorrow of 31 years ago, when then is tomorrow?

Reginald Aziza

Provide your own candidate and we will vote him.
So far as he's integrity and vision.

Mr. take am easy, there is nothing wrong with the like of northern or south-western Nigeria people, the politicians for their selfish reasons continue to use that as a way of deceiving the people.

PDP has followers in the northern part of Nigeria as in the south too, but the issue remains that any oppositional political party that fails to understand that propaganda and unconstructive criticism can not win a sitting government in an election,a party like APC that indulge in such act is only deceiving the electorates; instead to come out with better alternatives ideas and a clear road-map on how to actualize those ideas will continue to lose elections.

Unfortunately, it has been said by different learned person's in and outside the country that the major contender against GEJ, General Buhari can not operate in a free democratic settings which we are operating today Nigeria.

I want to ask Buhari's adult supporters this question, because most of his die hard followers are neither teenegers or person's in their early twenties that never experienced his horribis modus operandi, my question is this; since Buhari overthrown a sitting democratically elected government over thirty years ago, has him ever supported any other presidential candidate or aspirant in subsequent elections like Babangida, Gowon, even Obasanjo did??

Dakuku my man. He just told us what he intends to do for us if he's elected but the funny thing is that these are thesame things Amaechi promised us 8years ago. Thank you Dakuku Peterside for indirectly telling us that Amaechi has failed in his promises.

One of the Decampees even stated it that even though Amaechi failed us, we have to forgive him only because he changed the flagbearer from Ikwerre.

Amaechi failed, therefore his protege will do thesame.

I bet you guys many Rivers state indigenes will vote Jonathan as President but will never vote Wike as governor. From feelers on ground even many PDP people will do same. They just don't trust Wike enough with power in Rivers state. They also don't want to go back to the Egypt they were some few years back which they are already seeing the sign being introduced with the coming of Wike into the race. It has to be high powered rigging and intimidation for this man to win the elections and I don't see Amaechi and his camp cower in this department. Battle royale it's going to be in Rivers state come February.

some point u gat but....
I will rather vote Buhari and wike than GEJ and Wike.
my reasons are
1: GMB will jail wike if found wanting unlike GEJ.
2: Wike is not inherently bad as People may say, its just wrong masters (GEJ and PEJ)
3: with GMB on top, every governor will sit up.

all the same I route for Dakuku

All these ones are just nonsense excuses, creating hatred where there is none and problems where there are none. Tinubu, kwankwaso, amaechi, oshiomole, fashola and co were/are governors what did they do to improve agriculture and power in their various states despite the billions they generate monthly/yearly.
If truly they are for good governance, they won't wait for FG/GEJ to do all these things for them, but rather they will source out a way as good leaders they claim to be and take the praise. Or are the APC governors and lawmakers just elected to do nothing? Are these people empowered by the law not to provide light, boost agriculture and education in their states anymore?. Yet we blame one person for what is suppose to be a collective efforts. The APC should stop being hypocrites and work together to better this country.

Howdy.
