APC: What manner of change?

A very close look at the APC shows they are not different from the PDP,

* Amaechi - 8yrs speaker; 7yrs governor under PDP,

* Atiku - 8yrs Vice president under PDP,

* Akume -8yrs governor under PDP,

* Bukola Saraki - 8yrs governor; 2yrs Senator under PDP,

* Timipre Sylver -4yrs governor under PDP,

* Audu Ogbe - 2yrs chairman of PDP,

* Aminu Masari - 4yrs Reps speaker under PDP,

* Chris Ngige - 3yrs governor under PDP,

* Kwankwaso - 7yrs governor, 3yrs Defense minister under PDP,

* El-Rufai - 4yrs FCT minister, 2yrs BPE chairman under PDP,

* Oyinlola, 7 and half years governor under PDP,

* Segun Oni, 3 and half years governor under PDP,

And to cap it all they went to OBJ begging, a man who they claimed spent 8 of the disastrous 16 yrs as the maximum ruler of Nigeria to come and lead them on a rescue mission. If Abacha was alive, APC would have gone to beg him to come nd assist dem.

It is now clearer that APC is a waste basket of the PDP, where the people who created and perpetuated the "16 Disastrous years" are now dumped.

Please Nigerians what is the change in this APC?

Buhari is obviously not in government, so I expect him to be oblivious of certain realities. You can't describe how the sitting room is from outside the house. The real problem arrives when you can't describe the sitting room from inside...
Haba, see excuse. The op said he did not tell us how he would achieve majority of the things he promised to do. He didn't offer ant inadequate explanation. If he does not understand what is inside, then he has no business in being the opposition because the opposition always has an answer different from the ruling government. If he doesn't understand how things are, he has no business in governance. It means he has lost touch.

Nobody expects PDP agents to like the well articulated Manifesto. But they are all happy with Jonathan's inability to present to Nigerians his plans for seeking re-election.

Nigerians are unitedly voting Buhari for Change. We can no long dwell under the burden of Corruption.

Sai Buhari.
you are talking about corruption but have you think otherwise? Are you sure buhari will prove anyone in APC? are you sure it will not be a way of fighting against the opposition when he assumes office? And lastly, i bet it, buhari will never end Boko Haram cause it has gone beyond their power.

Opposition can only state their objectives.
Implementation details cannot be given with any certainty until opposition has taken over and have a fuller understanding of the state of the country and its finances.

The most unfortunate misfortune that has befallen this country is the coming of apc. This party and Buhari has just come into politics with the singular mind set that no other individual will ever rule this cointry. Not less than a quarter of Nigerians have planned to travel in mid January. Most workers has appealled to their bosses to allow them their annual leave towards the end of January for fear of being attacked or caught. As am sending this post, all three out of four of us who lived in an estate has appeal to me to take proper care of the estate, leaving me alone. What kind of life is this? You people want votes for your party, yet t you preach hell fire all the times. You threaten every Nigerians including the few of your supporters. Honestly, apc is evil. It is so painful to come across these Islams living in the same country with others. Very regretable.

I am.sorry but the writer is shallow in his analysis.

Instead of tackling the actual points in the manifesto and providing alternatives..... he's just using bogus words to make a watery conclusion of negativity.

I'm even curious to know his background.

I have more research to do... We shall get to the bottom of this matter.

By the way, GEJ's New Year speech this morning is bereft of ideas. There was nothing on his plans (if any) for Power, Refining, Security and on tackling Corruption.
That's the manifesto PDP has for 2015.

u spoke my mind ...

How can you possibly expect the opposition to understand everything inside the government? That's why some things are classified.. If they aren't, the whole world would know, not just the opposition!!!

I do believe the columnist is right to question how Buhari intends to implement his manifesto. While some might argue that it is just a manifesto and we all should wait till he becomes president, I prefer to know how he will go about it. For so long we have been hoodwinked, and in this age, we should begin to question, listen and question again. Not take for granted based on a person's personality. After all the present president was voted in cos of his person (shoeless) and we are all complaining. I really wish we had younger and more intelligent persons contesting, the likes of Fashola(not that he is a saint), Donal Duke, etc. Both the president and buhari are not the answer. However should Buhari articulate how he intends to implement his manifesto, I might be swayed to vote for him

Like so many posters here am yet to read the manifesto but I read buhari's manifesto in the 2011 election which shows clearly that he understand s the problem at hand, how he intends to achieve it could be anoda issue. But to think of it, despite the said inadequacies in the manifesto, I'll rather submit that its way ahead of the policies PDP has been presenting us with, and the debates I believe we can come up with could be are the promises achievable or not? If achievable y the the criticism without hearing how he intends to achieve them. As far as concerned, let Jonathan come up with his

This so called Abimbola has not made any reasonable point.
GMB said he is going to address and tackle some issues boldly and you are asking him to disclose his strategy to be implemented, does he think that GMB is so foolish like you to reveal his strategy to those anti progress peoples to sabotage the plan?
Take Security issue for instance: you mean GMB should disclose his stretegy to fight insurgency publicly? How reasonable is that?

You bounch of clueless should go and borrow sense if you don't have.
Re: The Trouble With The Buhari Manifesto BY ABIMBOLA ADELAKUN by kevade: 5:29pm On Jan 01, 2015
For me I see the manifesto as a vision GMB has for the country, it really is a tall order considering the various bureaucracies attendant with a democratic setting. But Nigerians the man has consistently reiterated his belief in Nigerians and therefore when given the opportunity will definitely work with credible people to achieve to a great degree some of the programmes listed in the manifesto. We all agree that WE NEED TO FIGHT A DISEASE, A VIRUS THAT HAS RAVAGED THE ANALS OF THIS GREAT COUNTRY and that VIRUS IS CORRUPTION. To achieve this we need a leader of impeccable background to fight it head on as I assure u I can hardly see any other NIGERIAN who has the doggedness, politcal will and the morality to tackle it head on. We need to get rid of this scourge and by so doing creating the right atmosphere and building the strong foundation for the youths of this country to CARRY ON THE BATON of LEADERSHIP. All other points on the manifesto can be achieved with collaboration from the likes of OSIBANJO, FASHOLA, OSHIOMOLE, FAYEMI, etc. We all Know GMB can never do it alone and therefore concerted efforts will definitely move us in leaps. The present administration lacks the political will to fight this Virus and therefore it continues to harm even their own set goals. Let us call a spade a spade, we are tired of the cluelessness, massive corruption, ethnic bigotry, insecurity, blamegames etc the present administration represents. LET US GIVE POSITIVE CHANGE a CHANCE. If u want further clarifications on the manifesto why don't you ask him on twitter on @ThisisBuhari.

GMB/OSIBANJO come 44 days time

You are totally right. smiley smiley smiley Most people do not understand that a successful business is already born from a successful and well articulated business plan. The reverse can also be said for an unsuccessful business.
Manifestos are exactly like what business plans are to entrepreneurs.
A failed government is as result of a failed manifesto.

Former military dictator Muhammadu Buhari still sticks to his hidden manifesto of REVENGE since he was overthrown in a palace military coup. He has never had any manifesto, not even now, to change Nigeria to the better - only change to acrimony.

President GEJ is overtly democratic, thus APC leadership and its supporters take GEJ to be clueless - some even stupidly call him ogogoro drinker.

Because APC and its supporters are used to military dictators in power, they cannot stand a very democratic president Jonathan - they want dictator Buhari..
