I can appreciate their hustle to an extent, but they talk and whine too much.

Many of them are tribalistic. Wonder why...

So annoying and unnecessary.

From the point of view of a Nigerian who has lived in the east south and west for extended periods, I disagree. Maybe you've had some unpleasant encounters but it dosnt justify your statements. Nigeria is largely a tribal society and everyone naturally leans towards his/hers. Yes Igbos have their issues like everyone else but Iv found them to be the most accomodating.

It's ur opinion anyway and u hav evry right to air it but I tink u deliberately posted this to start a tribal war

Lol @ your last paragraph.

Finally someone with a good head. No hope is lost after all. Nigerians get agitated over certain issues. I wanted to prove a point and I got it.

Yes, not all of them. In fact, 60% of my friends are Igbos. I love them fiercely. I've had unpleasant encounters as well...just with other tribes.

Thought the tribal issue was just on NL but I've had so many unpleasant issues. Note I didn't say all of them...

But really why do people want to die over religious and tribal issues? Why cant we just be Nigerians? I've asked that question many times.

See the level of hatred on just a line of comment? The change is not about Buhari or GEJ, it's about all of us.

Thank you for your REASONABLE comment.

3. Igbos Are Excessive Migrants
Many people believe that more than half of
Nigerians in the Diaspora are Igbos but that is not
actually true. Though many Igbos allegedly
dispersed to overseas after the Civil War but Igbos
actually prefer to stay In-broad than to stay A-
broad.

@op this number 3 is nothing but the truth about Igbos. Igbos are everywhere oooo, North, South, East and west.

Correct!

Every person or people have their weaknesses, one more glaring than the other. Once they are identified, greatness begins to shine light (do not mistake greatness for material wealth). Humility is the greatest.

And other tribes in Nigeria have sent men to the space because they are humble, huh?

Yea, I know that tack. Reverse psychology.
You don't wanna give in too quickly or you might look like the coward you are.
So, you're hoping I'd stop kicking your butt and let you go.

Igbo parents ask for heaven and earth just to marry their daughters.they recently gave a friend of mine a list that contains so many things and all the school fees they paid for his. Ibo girlfriend from primary school up to the post graduate level. The guy has been really depressed since he saw that list.

I already gave him and advice that the best way to marry an Igbo girl is to just pump some sper.m into her and impregnate her wether with or without her concent. My friend is working towards that now.

You are a learner based on your advice to your friend.
1. A pregnant girl is now a blessing. If you pump an Igbo girl, you will pay for her, pay for the baby and pay for tampering with our prized asset.
2. Traditions are traditions, our daughters are a greatly prized asset, eg Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Bianca Ojukwu, we value them; thus you must honour us by paying everything on the list or you call your elders to assist in bargaining and convincing us that you are a potential in-law capable of taking care of her and her needs.
3. Within the Igbos we pay everything on the list or we negotiate in a respectable manner.
4. This one is gonna blow you away, some Igbo families give back the bride prize as a gift to the couple.

This is not entirely false. Many people from Anambra are uneducated, illiterate traders who have no desire for education or acquiring knowledge, a rather disgraceful state of play.

Any tribe has it's good and bad characteristics, what makes up for it is your own individual personality, if you have a great personality you'll go far in life, if you have a bad one then people might be afraid to associate with you. If we all can view ourselves according to the following hierarchy then we would all get along:

1: Human
2: Race
3: Ethnicity
4: Religion

4 is less important than 3, 3 is less important than 2 and 2 doesn't matter as long as we understand 1; we are all human beings, no life is more important than the other. Stop bigotry, stop tribalism and embrace humanity!

No, we are not done. I have all the time in the world. Little boy has had dinner so I can type away.

I knew you were going to reply. You are so obedient...just like a puppy. You should channel your aggression...or is it patriotism towards the right source.

Only imbecilic morons go overboard calling people unprintable names just because they have a different opinion.

I understand all the over-excitement on the internet for teenagers. Take it easy, cool and have fun. Life is beautiful.
