Let's ask Pope this question...Would you kill anybody that Insults Jesus

Charlie was sued by the catholic Commission 14 times and yet there was no record of violence..he has insulted Jews,christians buddishts and islam but non of the First 3 tried to take his life why only islam
Am not supporting incitments but I believe as humans we have a section of our brains that makes us tolerate so many things. If we can't Tolerate sm tins den I believe we shouldn't be called Human.

I won't be cos I believe he has got the power to defend himself .same tin should be apllicable to Muslims and Mohammed cos atleast I feel they believe he is the Main prophet of God so there is no need to fight for him.
If sm1 abuses Jesus to an extent, what I will eventually do is to ignore him cos I will feel he has smtin wrong with him. I won't go on and kill him and other ppl dt don't even support what he did....

When you attack black people, They call it “Racism”, When you attack Jewish people, They call it “Anti-semetism”, When you attack Christian people, They call it “Anti-Crusaders”, When you attack Women, they call it “Gender discrimination”, When you attack Homosexuality, They call “Intolerance”, When you attack a country, They call it “Terrorism”, When you attack religious sect, they call it “Hate speech”, but when they attack at the dignity of our Beloved Prophet MUHAMMAD (PBUH), They call it “Freedom of Expression”. When very few of those who lack self-control react, they call all Muslims terrorists.

WHAT AN HYPOCRITICAL WORLD WE LIVE IN.

Muslims cant denigrate other peoples religious value because we respect you all, yet they make mockery of ours. We Muslims, should leave them and stay calm. They love war and violence, we wont give it to them.

News flash: Catholics ain't Christians, the are catholics. That's what they are.

Christianity is not and has never been a violent religion. We cause trouble among men when we preach the truth cos men love the lie. We don't convert people forcefully. God forbid! If we do that then our gospel is void of power.

I can't say the same for the Muslims who worship not the true God.

The truth is that no one can make him/her self a Christian. Only God can do that.

So someone saying he is a christian doesn't make him one

Christianity is not a violent religion indeed. Remind me again how i'm going to need spiritual understanding to understand a verse written in plain English.

Which kain tin be dis. That is not what he said. When asked about reaction to the paris terrorist incident, he cautioned journalists about their responsibility when reporting news. To make his point clear he looked at his aid and said "it is understandable that if you insult my mother you would expect a punch, right?" pointing out that people will always react in certain situations when provoked. NL is becoming notorious for headlining ridiculous articles.

The Pope made it clear he is not in support of violence. He's not in support of the Islamic killings but also posited that we should mind what we say or do with respect to other people's religions, simple!

Now, what is the best way forward? Please practice the
following approach:
1. Never look at those cartoons.
2. Never forward the cartoon to anybody by email
or whatsapp or by any other means.
3. Keep your frustration in your heart.
4. Follow guidelines of good Muslims and never
frustrate people of other religions.
5. Always remember that Islam is a religion of
peace so try to promote peace.
6. Give more contributions to propagation of
Islam.(walaw kariha lkaafiruun)
7. Remember that our best weapon is our truth
and good manners that will attract others to join
Islam.

It almost amuses me when you Muslims hold on to this Islam is a religion of peace phrase,when there are several points of reference that contradicts this axiom undecided

You just picked one passage of scripture and misunderstood it completely. The sword there is not a physical sword but the truth. The truth makes you at variance with people around you who have not the truth. And because you know the truth, you are ready to forsake all for the sake of truth. This will attract not love from the world but hate and opposition from your family members cos you chose not to follow them blindly.

Jesus also admonished us to turn the other cheek if we are hit on one. He did not contradict himself.

And yes spiritual understanding is needed because not only will it unlock "mystical truths" to you, you will begin to think soundly too.

He used someone beside him who is from the vatican that if for instance he punches him u would expect a spontaneous reaction from him

i think muslim draw more enemies to themselves by attacking perceived critics, or mockers of their faith.
Yesterday in my school, the Muslim Student's Society organised a seminar on campus. The theme of the programme was centered around Biblical and Quranic support for science and western education but the guest speaker was bad mouthing Christianity and terming Jesus 'a bastard' and he not being the son of God, and how the Book of Matthew is fiction. Some students approached him and kindly asked him to focus on the theme of the gathering but he refused. Students didnt allow the programme continue.
Although i am not in support of the student's action, but i could'nt stop wondering what would have happened if the whole ish was the other way round.
People have freedom of speech, if you feel insulted, you either sue them, insult back or keep quiet...you dont kill..especially when your religion is that of 'peace.'

unical right? These people have d audacity to spew rubbish down south while universities in d north have no church biuding. One Nigeria my foot!

@op it's just a metaphor you really need more understanding in affairs and speech of noble individuals.

To analyse the sentence what he mean is that anyone who insults his Mother (his being, affairs) a punch (more of the insults,in abundance will be on that individual ) the Pope is a spiritual intellect In universal state of Mind if any of you think of evil more evil will come to you.

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh he who must have conceived insults speaketh insults more of attraction of insult (PUNCH) will compass the speaker.

The Pope has perceive insults probably not towards him but within the people in the said environ and he is preaching about right thinking and to end it CAUSE and EFFECT
