I hate it when a man hits a woman, I haven't done it before and by God's grace I won't till I die, but I wouldn't want the whole gender equality thing to be handed down to Nigerian girls in relationship matters like the whites did to their women. Except in the case of employment because I feel women should be given equal opportunities here just like the men.

My reason is, whatever we Nigerians wanna do, we do it in excess. Assuming that in Nigeria, men are sentenced to jail for hitting women, whether retaliation or not, then you will see how women will easily abuse that opportunity. That is, a man might be getting slapped for just about anything.


There's a female friend (my ex precisely) of mine i told about my business idea which required much start-up, told her about my analysis and she was like "start little and build your business all the way to the top, unless you want to do what Anambra people are known for, ritual".

I picked offence and she claimed she was only joking.. Does it make any sense joking stupidly like this? I later kept my cool tho. She didn't know I broke up with her in the past cuz I couldn't take shits like this..

Seems you didn't understand the last part of my statement. How'd you feel if people talked about your community and tagged them murderers and then I being your man asks you if you wanna go about killing like your village people?
