Buhari was the governor of North-eastern state of Nigeria in 1975 at age 33, same age as Flavour Nabania now.

Buhari was minister of petroleum in 1976 at age 34, same age as D'Banj now.

Buhari was head of state in 1983 at age 41, same age as 2face now.

Say NO to recycled leaders!.

Funny savage campaign, so jonathan is d youth rite?
A youth wit Ph.d but can't make decision for himself n nation?
A youth wit all acclaimed school cert but still bluffed out 'stealing is not corruption'. Plssss
A youth wit an humble begining (even without shoes til he turned 17yrs old) but keeps shunning out policies dat burden d poor masses.
A youth with d fear of God (even pastors r his roommate in aso rock) that he grant pardon to international criminals. not yet done, employs them into his government.
Hmmm, lest i say much? D youth u crave to sell, is d demon d nation is trying hard to cleanse from.

Indeed, it's very unfortunate Buhari is not the change we want. I wish he is, but unfortunately he's expired and have absolutely nothing good to offer Nigeria.

By your reasoning, even GEJ is too old to be president. The fact remains that most youths in this country are still not capable of leadership and whether we like it or not, the elecion is between a clueless president with 6 years of mediocrity or a proven general with experience and momentum on his side, vote wisely and shine your eyes!

Very funny how you call a 50 years plus Jonathan an old man whereas a 73 years old man is perfectly ok by you. Sometimes, I wonder whether you people think in reverse order.
You can as well go to your village and vote the oldest man there as the next president of Nigeria. I think that would be very good since age doesn't matter.

Sho gbadun, did I inform you that I'm okay with Buhari's age? I'm trying to tell you that by your definition of youth, they are both disqualified. However seeing that we don't have a choice but to vote for one of them, I would rather vote for the experienced machine capable fo tacking Boko Haram, not a figurehead who would rather negotiate with them!

Unfortunately, Buhari when he was your age have already done his best for Nigeria and have nothing more to offer today. Good luck with your choice though.

By-the-way, can you list me names of prosperous democratic countries with presidents at 73?.

[b]I feel your pain my dear but stop nagging,Is jonathan and buhari the only presidential candidate??You said buhari is not the worthy replacement and at the same time you claim jonathan is not the right candidate and you said the youths should wake up from their slumber,Let me tell you that one of the right ways for the youth to wake up from their slumber is to vote for their preferred candidate without sentiments, and that candidate could even be a youth like them which they want.....or what stops you from even becoming that change?there is a saying that "the change begins with everyone of us"...you can start from the grass-root level if truly you want the youth to take over.......you can take a leadership role and take the bold step...

and if you are saying you are not voting and assuming the other youths also say they are not voting based on the same reasoning as yours then how will the youths make their voice heard??do you think governance is rocket scienceyour vote is your power my dear......who knows whether you have even collected your pvc..grin

Google Ronald Reagan and find out how old he was when he was president or Prime minister Jong of Netherland(99yrs old) or Napolitano of Italy or Peres of Isreal, my guy do your research and see how age is not a factor. Age has nothing on your quality of leadership, in Nigeria we are focused on worthless things such as age, religion and ethnicity when the real qualities we should be looking at is experience, communication and effectiveness.

.

Every one you listed here was educated, unlike Buhari a semi illiterate that can only boast of WASC (secondary school certificate).

Also let me inform you we're in 2015 brother. Those people can no longer rule their country today. The world order have changed since 2001.

By-the-way, Regan was born in 1911 and became president in 1981 at age 70 not 73 like your Buhari.

Perez is a ceremonial head of state. The real ruler of Israel is Benjamin Netanyahu. Get your facts right.

The other you from Netherlands you mentioned is too archaic to get a mention here. The world have changed as I told you.

Can you see your life? First you protest against his age, now it's about his qualifications? So there's a real difference between 70 and 73 Like I said I won't argue with you too much, age is useless when compared to experience.

OP you are mischievous. At 33 flavor isn't qualified to run for President. At 41, 2face is qualified but he has to join a political party and vie for the office of President. Buhari isn't stopping anyone neither is barcanista. I am an apostle of power shift but you must present yourself first. Also you must have a good strategy and administrative experience. PDP should leave Muhammadu Buhari alone! He didn't stop anybody.

Unfortunately, you're consistently missing the point.

Listen.

Buhari is not a presidential material.

1. He's not educated.
2. He's too old at 73 to rule Nigeria.

Goodbye!.

And you are arguing blindly, show me a leader in the world that has performed magnificently because of his age. Show me a leader in the world that has not performed well due to his age and his age alone. You'll be surprised that it is those old aged leaders that outperform their young counterparts. For your information, some of the worst dictators in the world are youths wink wink

I think the argument shouldn't be about age
it should be about health
after watching buhari speak on tv
all I can say is that the man is sick
very sick
he was a general and active before
but he will be too weak to enforce the law this time
lets vote for Buhari to go and rest
he is too old to be carrying the weight of nigeria on his shoulder
Re: Give The Youths A Chance. Say No To Recycled Leaders. by ACTIONSOP: 8:37am On Feb 07, 2015
@Op good move. Apc. MUST REPLACE THEIR PARTY SLOGAN with "RECYCLING". So now Apc-RECYCLING, sai buhari-RECYCLING . To APC fans,, change means something NEW/DIFFERENT. How can buhari bring change.
Since buhari's retirement from service, has he made any meaningful contributions to the nation.
Since 2003, buhari's career and hobby is contest election and fail.
2003 buhari vs OBJ.
2007 buhari vs Yar'Adua both from kastina state, buhari Failed
2011 buhari. vs GEJ
2015. buhari vs GEJ .buhari is it business as usual?
I think buhari is already frustrated, changing from one party to another still no show.
Re: Give The Youths A Chance. Say No To Recycled Leaders. by rayval(m): 10:24am On Feb 08, 2015
This Thread is changing its original meaning$$$ Give the youth a chance...no body is calling GEJ a youth..In my own opinion I rather say "It is time to take our chance" not give us our chance.....nobdy can give us exept we take it either by violence or what ever means...Nigeria has no youth. We re dead-nt rite, no power, no unity, nothing**we allow some old fools.. Some beasts of no nation, some thieves to gamble with not just our future but that of our children..and we stupidly come out with empty brains to campaign , argue, fight, and eventually vote for those two selfish people**where is the youth, where is the leader of tomorrow, where re you..you'v sold your value..and one stupid thing we fail to realise is that..They fear us. They re scared..they knw d power is actually in our hands..but the Nigerian youth knws nothing abt d definition of freedom, d Nigerian youth knows nothing about democracy. We re afraid of Living..Oh God....Jesus wept-i'm doing same**It is time to create a future our parents never did..it is time to build a home, a country and a fatherland..I stand for a movement, I stand for the truth I stand against Buhari and Jonathan..I stand against pdp and Apc, I stand against christians and muslims, I stand against the north, south, east and west. I stand for one Nigeria, I stand for the youth and I stand for the truth, I stand for for change-you nd I....we need a total cleansweep..we need revolution..social revolution precisely..we have the power we shouldn't fail our children**#MOVEMENT OF THE PEOPLE# this is our home we need to recreate it..there is no weapon stronger than our voice, our unity, our zeal, our value, our right and our dream.....we can do this**they cn alws kill us but cn nva kill our dreams**It is better to die for something than live for nothing***We need change-we don't need buhari, we need change we don't need Jonathan...time to rewrite History**it is time to redeem d national pledge to Nigeria our country-If is see any bloody youth campaigning or telling me shits abt APC nd PDP, I will blow of his brains nd bury him with pride-nd I'd hope to gt a virgin for dat in heaven..Bleep any one of you who clamour for chnge via those old men..*nd I would see u born in hell wen my dream is born**movement of the people#
