He allowed her to enrol in a university. That's really nice and thoughtful of him. Shows that he's a liberal king and he wants a secured future for her. Some royal fathers would not have allowed such as she is young and pretty - they would probably think she might run off with a younger lover or get influenced by friends in the university.
