Yorubas did not make GEJ President. His votes from the south west was the 2nd lowest in the country.

You are not bright.

Who nominated GEJ as VP at all in the first instance?

Who put pressure on the National Assembly to ensure GEJ emerged acting president?

Who gave GEJ the confidence to seek a full term in 2011?

No government can thwart the will of the people and that is what got us democracy in the first place because the whole country was against Babangida when he perpetrated a similar act. HoweverNigeria is very divided at the moment with the ss/se in alliance and the North and west in another so the feasibility of this is quite gloomy. Jonayhan was also clever enough to buy the so called activists to his side working in their personal vendetta against tinubu and their sheer love of money. He has decapitated OPC where now you have the likes of Gani Adams supporting his government and the stupid Yinka Odumakin and his wife being the mouthpiece for election postponement. Have you seen pastor Bakare come out with vigour like he used to or heard Femi Falana or even Soyinka speak up like before? These people will rather dine with the devil than have Tinubu dictate to them. But it's to their own detriment. The only people who can really oppose him have either been bought or blackmailed. The fight is now down to the masses but I wonder who will take the lead.
in any case desola tinubu does not need opc or affenifere or any of the bought over yoruba group. He has the apc lawmakers and more than 10 apc states in his kitty. They alone are enough to shut down the system and can boycott all elections across the country. If this happens you know there will be serious consequences across the nation. God help naija....

I pray that the ar5e you pulled that out of rots as a result of cancer soon. You are the true depiction of a demon.
Yes, a meagre and insignificant 2.8 million

Obasanjo nominated GEJ as VP to placate the Niger-delta Militants who gave him hell and reduced Nigeria's oil production to the minimum, he needed the oil to flow.
Dora Akunyil and other Nigerians put pressure on the National assembly to make GEJ acting President.
GEJ gave himself the confidence to seek for a full term, if he could be seeking for a second term in office this 2015 with all the boko haram problems and the northerners who believe even his first tenure was supposed to be theirs, I don't see any reason why he would have needed a special confidence from anyone to contest in 2011 when the obstacles were considerably less.
Once again, Yorubas didn't make GEJ President, get used to it.

Since the illiterate Fulani man envisage military take over should there be further postponement of the elections, the security agencies should as a matter of urgency deploy surveillance drones and snippers on them ( Tinubu & Co) to forestall them sponsoring Armed groups.

Why are you so dull?

Didnt you just agree that OBJ nominated GEJ for whatever reason?
Was GEJ the only Niger Deltan?
Is Bayelsa the only oil-producing state?
Are all oil-producing communities Ijaw?
Were all the militants who gave OBJ 'hell' based in Bayelsa?
Mehn, ...

Enter Dora; Dora at the ministerial screening held by the senate after she was nominated by GEJ as information minister recanted how she raised prayers at a particular catholic church for the recovery of ailing president YarAdua at the time?
How could she then be championing the removal of someone whose divine healing she was seriously praying for at the same time?
Doesn't that negate common sense?

In 2011, OBJ pacified the north and assured them GEJ will only be a one-term president after he secured the party's ticket. OBJ was instrumental through and through to GEJ's success in 20111 and played down the zoning issue whenever it arose.

Can you see you are just a dullard?

You need to understand that Jonathan does not intend handing over power. He is acting out the dissolution script.

There will be no election and no handing over. Jonathan's ultimate goal is to go to war and dissolve nigeria.

Whether the Nigerian people will allow him is another question but as per your expectation of an election, I highly doubt it. Didn't you read the writing on the wall from okupe's demeanour?

Make no mistake about it, the west is
Jonatha's backbone in this so thinking it will come to Nigeria's aid is consciously sleeping in a fool's paradise.

Never ever mention "GEJ" and "Confidence" in the same sentence again.......He seriously lacks it, its evident in all he says, does and his physical appearance.

Don't argue unless you studied Psychology in school.

OBJ practically took him around Nigeria by the hands and campaigned for him. This is the first campaign GEJ is embarking on by himself and we can all see the big mess he's been.

@Topic. If this was the same way troops were deployed to Borno from the begining of GEJ's tenure, Boko Haram wouldn't have grown the wings they have today.

The fact that OBJ nominated him for VP does not mean that Yorubas made him President.
GEJ wasn't the only Niger Deltan but his appointment was intended to placate all militants of all states and ethnic groups within the Niger-delta who identified with him as a ''brother'' and it worked, afterall they all came together under the 'Niger-delta' struggle. Many of the militants threatening to go back to the struggle today aren't Bayelsans.
Did you expect Dora to pray for Yaradua's death? She kept praying for his recovery even while she was pressurising the National Assembly to make GEJ the acting President when Yaradua had been out for too long. Many people felt the country had been on auto-pilot mode for too long and urged the Nationa Assembly to swear in GEJ as acting President, it doesn't in anyway mean that they wanted Yar'adua to die.
Even GEJ himself didn't cease to use any of his public statements to pray for the recovery of Yaradua at that time. How daft can your reasoning be? First you suggested that GEJ's appointment only appealed to Bayelsa/Ijaw militants, now this.
I can't remember OBJ promising anyone a single tenure on behalf of GEJ. In any case, that doesn't mean that Yorubas made GEJ President.
The only one dull here is you as evidenced by your weird reasoning.
