Exactly, my family are the only reason I'm even so invested in Nigerian politics, at the rate they're going I know paying pensions will become a problem - education will get worse, the economy will get even worse and guess who will have to support them? What will my younger ones inherit? At least living abroad, I can reason objectively without thinking of one uncle or aunt politician in a party that I feel an obligation to support. Each time I visit Nigeria everyone has lost more weight, gotten darker and look less healthy, the elder ones are losing eyesight like dogs because the health system is poor at prognosis, people are dying of preventable diseases. I'm lugging tons of items that should be easily sourced back home even fruit! A pot of grapes cost £10 in Nigeria! One apple costs £1, when are we going to realize this is ridiculous!

Those I speak to believe that GEJ has performed poorly, this is because PDP have become comfortable - we remember when Yaradua died and they refused to relinquish power, we remember the subsidy scandal, we remember the kidnappings in naija delta, we remember the promises made and never delivered we know they should not be rewarded.
