Buhari is the most misunderstood Nigerian of his
generation since his whirlwind 20-month rule.
Much of the misunderstanding is a product of the
fear of the man they refuse to understand. He has
been tarred and feathered as an alleged religious
fanatic whose alleged objective in seeking power is
to Islamise Nigeria. Yet, his detractors find it
convenient not to remember that in his quest for
the presidency, Buhari has not carried his
campaigns to mosques or Muslim groups
anywhere in the country. Religion has never
featured in his campaigns. Political leadership is
not about the god you worship. It is about serving
that god by serving the people.
On the other hand, unlike Buhari, President
Goodluck Jonathan is busy mining religion for his
political benefits. It is no secret that he hops from
one obscure church to another, seeking assurance
from pastors that he is the man chosen by God.
Twice, he took state governors, ministers and
pastors to pray at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem. I
have heard no one accuse him of Christianising
Nigeria.

Re: Buhari’s Certificate Saga Suits Now 10 by InvertedHammer: 11:04pm On Feb 26, 2015
My take on this is:

Requirement for Presidency: Minimum of WASC or its equivalent?

Question: Can GMB prove that he has WASC (or its equivalent) or some education higher than WASC level?

If GMB can prove that he has WASC or that WASC was waived for his admission to higher education, the case is dead on arrival.

However, if his certificate was forged to gain admission into higher education level, then there is a problem.

Otherwise, it all amounts to unnecessary noise.

Buhari should apply for jamb 2015, seat for the exam and have the jamb cert first, although he became president by coup during the millitary era, this is democracy, a time of pen and paper not gun power

Take this from me, if Buhari wins in court, he will be so popular that GEJ won't want an election with him.

Just as them shout #noChantemHouse and that made the chantem house experience more popular, so also will the world stand still for GMB when he comes out of these vexatious suits.

Are you better off now than you were 6 years ago before President #jonathan was sworn in as president after the death of President Umaru Yaradua? If the economy of a country is getting better, the people feel it before they see official published statistics. Are Nigerians living a higher quality of life now than before because they have access to better, good paying jobs, better healthcare, better education and infrastructure, power or electricity that has removed the need to invest in diesel generators? What is your perception of corruption in the country? Do you feel opportunity is being expanded for all or most of the opportunities in the land is limited to a privilege few who are in government?

Follow links in my signature, NL is blocking any information that does not or may not favour the current government........?

Yes I'm better off. At least, I now have one more car added to the one I had before, I've been promoted twice since he took over, I've also acquired property in a choice area, long completed my M.Sc and almost starting my Ph.D, moved into a bigger and better apartment. What more? Must the Jonathan or the Govt. do everything for u? People are moving on irrespective of good or bad governance and here u r complaining with ur arms inbetween ur legs.

Did you watch Buhari speak today in Chatham House, UK? Where did Buhari display intelligence during the speech? For 4/5 of the speech time, Buhari was facing the ground, strongly clutching on the podium while reading a prepared speech.

Have you ever seen, Barak Obama, Michelle Obama, or David Cameron address the public? They can speak for one hour without looking on a paper, but looking only at the audience. That is intelligence.

Una wan close educational institutions in Nigeria with this una certificate no matter for Buhari.

If for any reason Buhari is allowed to become Nigeria's president without WASC, in future, anybody can come and tell us that he has doctorate degree without certificate and show us his classmates as proof. That way have you not done exactly what Boko wants - stop Western education in Nigeria?

Shame on you for writing this poo. Buhari has been to churches and have been mingling with every Christian group that will grant him audience. Stop spreading lies. He has chosen a pastor for a second time or so. So what are you talking about? Do you think Nigerians are stupid?

It is a shame you claim that Buhari is the most misunderstood nigerian. Why do 170m nigerians have to understand just this one man? Don't you think he's the one who misunderstands nigerians?

Smart guys like Obasanjo, IBB, Abdusallami and co, took their time to understand nigerians and that explains why they were able to rule nigerians with ease, although in different styles.

Buhari is not diplomatic. He's easily predictable. He's not a politician. He is a soldier's soldier. Democracy is all about give and take. You make concessions when necessary. Nothing should be written on stones, rather it should be on sand. Human beings are not animals. You need to respect everyone. He has not respected nigerians before and I am afraid that it might be too late to teach this old fox a new trick.
