She just needs to wash off the blood then things can continue.

The best would be for her not to even tell the husband sef.

He would just assume its virgin blood if she was a virgin otherwise he probably would not notice blood until after the deed.

It's normal that after church wedding, the marriage should be consumated meaning there must be intercourse otherwise the marriage in not yet complete according to the catholic faith. If that is not done, the marriage can still be call off. It is, therefore, adviceable to consumate the marriage at all cost on your wedding night.
