I think most of the posts here confuse badly promotion of homosexuality (which is extremely rare) and the promotion of toleration towards other!

It is very necessary to promote toleration when we get comments referring to the 'damage' homosexuality does (the world has survived a small proportion being gay since the beginning). We even have savage, primitive and ignorant laws to persecute homosexuals put in place for very dubious motives. Even in most European countries there were laws against gays up to perhaps even as recently as fifty years ago or so until people realised that such barbaric laws repressing and discriminating against people because they are simply different, has no place in any civilized society.

Racism, Tribalism, Homophobia, Religious discrimination have no place among decent human beings.

I think you missed the crux of the OP's discourse. There is a difference between a germane movement borne out of repression and a fad being marketed by America's massive soft power industry; Hollywood. Of Nigerians start to talk about homosexuality based on injustices we find within our environs then that's swell, but what I am against is a bunch of people who fact lack of a better educational grounding come out to promote a culture they learn entire from a foreign ENTERTAINMENT industry which has no bearing on our own lives here in Nigeria.

Also skin color is a skin feature, ethnic group is an identity. People can't control that. People can't control their desires but they sure can control who they sleep with. That is why homosexuality should never be equated with blacks people or Jews. That is highly disrespectful. Gays were slaves, gays were killed to the point of extinction. Just because animals do it doesn't mean it is right. That is animals, they have no moral obligation unlike humans. Animals kill each other and eat each other. If human did the same, it is considered evil and cannibalism. So people should stop running to animals for their justification. We might be classified scientifically in the same group but doesn't mean we are the same.
