It gives no guarantee but it amouts to a whole lots if we like it or not. Even agents advice that a kinda payment should be made.

Please great people. My friend who's applying Chemical Engineering graduate program at U of Alberta just got a mail from her department that she'll need to send her English proficiency test results which we'd thought was an excluded criterion. Please people what do we do now?

I doubt if her application can be processed further without her proficiency exam... Generally, the School of Graduate Studies at University of Alberta waives English Language proficiency exam for students from naija, but Chemical engineering department has their own special list of counties exempted of which naija is not listed... I wonder what's so special about the Dept at uAlberta though.

I advise she quickly enrols for an exam ASAP or forfeit the application fee and check other schools in other provinces (the 1st Option seems to be the best bet right now considering the fact that most schools' application deadline for Fall session has passed)

Congrats to the latest medical applicants in the house...

Jengbetiele, hesque, Ornaments, and Chukyade... Canada awaits you all.

Always have in mind that the arrival into Mapleland marks the beginning of a new life struggle from a totally different dimension, prayer, hardwork and determination being among the key factors to success. All the best guys

Log-in to your MyCIC account, go to submitted applications, click on check status n messages. The nxt page shows the status of ur application and at the bottom of the page you will see the msgs that CIC has sent to you. One of them is ur biometrics form. Print it and take it along with ur int'l passport to VAC at lekki, ikate bus stop. That's whr u'll do ur biometrics. Remember to make 2 copies each of the form and ur passport. Safe!

MY OBSERVATION
I packaged my application based on applicants that got trv here through funding paid from canada . I read from part 1 to part 7. Though it was tasking I must tell you but I knew what I wanted because I don't have so much money to show. I followed docs submitted by one engr harry of part 4, I saw one christina of part 3, I saw one jijola in part 5 or 6, I read virtually all posts of holyjacket, and all others. One similarity among all of them is they had funding and they showed little moneym I got all ds info through research. That's why I love referring newbies to read from part 3. You will defintely find numerous successful applicants
With same case as yours. Information they say is power. Finally finally TRV is not the end of the world......Thank you all for reading my long gospel. I am proudly one of 'the people wey never get trv' God don do am now. Alihamdulilahi .we shall all get toour destination in no time. Don't forget to fast and pray to the giver of all things for mercy and favour
@deleyi I am so sorry once again.

Pls can you state which school you will be going to and what's course for which you were offered the scholarship with your proposed topic or research interest area.

did you include the total sum of tuition, room and board for the whole 4years of study or that of just the first year in the space funds needed on your application form.
how much was included in the funds available, or how much is best included.

A bank draft in a convertible currency is one of the listed doc for proof of finance on cic website. The good thing about ds is you don't need a proof of funds like fixed deposit. This is how to go about it. Go to your bank prefarably the modern banks. Open a dorm account. Deposit the amount you wanna use in dollars. Then instruct your bank to draw a draft in your name. E.g I went to my bank, opened a dorm account, deposited the dollars into the account, then I requested for a foreign draft.
