Good morning, good people of naira land. Pls I need your help concerning visa application. I am doing a level II masters in Italy, it is partly online and there's a classroom/ field component of the program which requires I go to Italy. Like I stated before my documents are being processed for DOV. I have paid my fees in full cos that's d course requirement. The fees cover my accommodation, medical insurance for the 2 weeks I would be spending in Italy etc.

1. Do I still need to get a travel insurance for the visa application? The letter from the school already states they are providing me insurance.

2. I am also thinking of visiting my sister in Netherlands and a friend in Germany after the course.
A. Will that require another health insurance? If yes, Should I purchase it before my visa application?
B. should I indicate it in my application, that I want to visit those places?
C. Should I tick multiple entry visa because of that?

If your school is providing you with insurance you dont have to bother yourself on it. I did my insurance and the embassy did not take it from me when i apply for the visa and its good you tick multiple entries when you are filling your visa application form. There is no reason for you to add the you want to visit any places in your application form.

Am the one that will pay his school fees in Italy or after he's giving admission, the school will cancel my admission that's why am keeping the school from him and he's my step brother, I don't want him to travel out. .....

Hello friends in the house...I currently live in the northern region of italy name emilia romagna. I must tell you the truth about italy. If you have plans to study only it is not a bad idea but if you have intention of staying back after your studies I must tell you it isn't worth it. Italy is really lacking behind in terms of standard of living. There are no jobs here the suffering here is just too much. There are better european countries like germany , norway, Denmark. Life in Italy is really hard. The basic truth theres no life after studies here. Feel free to ask any question about life In Italy. Buona notte....arrivederci.

I just got admission at uni of Camerino. Pls wats the next thing ? Someone said i need to go for pre enrolment . Should i jst walk into the embassy like dat ? Wat document do i need to go with ?

Secondly, my original waec has a different birth of birth from my other document ? Wat should i do about that ?

You already mentioned and known the school that gave me admission, which is university of siena.
You even quoted me with their website link as a guideline in applying for visa but you never gave me time to reply before criticized me.
And I hope you already have your admission letter with them too.
My Portugal stuff is on final stage.

it depend on what the admission letter ask you to do.if i were you i will go to the embassy for legalization of my document (ie starting from the fed. ministry of edu. then to the foregn affair commission before translation to italy language and then forewarding it to the italy embassy) while i immediately applied for student visa to study in the uni. like what i said it really depend on what is written in the admission letter, because not all school ask for pre enrolment from 9ja embassy of italy. then ur 2nd questn. which other document? anyway to the italy embassy date of birth is very important, mine own document was actually delay as a result of my birth certificate which was a court declaration by my father.my advise is that you declare your real age and also declare from the court that a mistake was made in your document or alternative go and resolve it from the authority where you obtain the documents with the mistake.

To all, toscana in italy is a very good place to life and survive, and as well school. it has three basic university.unifi, unisi and unipi. try and locate them. Good luck.

first have u book for ur appointment from their web site?if not just dont come as d gatemen will not allow u to enter. for booking go to http://www.conslagos.esteri.it/Consolato_Lagos/Menu/In_linea_con_utente/appuntamento/. after booking you will be giving ur appointment date to which u will present ur self to the embassy. apart for that on monday is for collection of document only , tuesday to thursday is for submission,etc in any which case if u have fixed a date on getting on the fixed date u will be ask to fill a form for pre erolment and later ask to go for legalization processes.

i was the cause of the revitalization o italy embassy web site. i had to petition them to their head office here in italy. they delayed my document for about six months. i am happy with the new development. they are now more business like and very serious. u cant imagine an embassy ab-initially telling me dat they have lost my documents which i submitted to them. i said it in this web page that i want to pick a lawyer but somebody said i shouldnt, but i had to do it. and i did it, two weeks later, things change and the system is better now.

And write an email stating: *Request for admission letter in economics and banking* which she told me its the only bachelor english taught course. You will get your pre enrollment letter in the next 24hours working days hours. Like if you send today, you get your admission letter on monday so you can begin your visa process next week.

Oh okay, they have many english taught MSc programs...you can check it and select your choice and just email your doc and passport to her requesting for admission letter.

No, Torino takes too long to decide and you know italy embassy takes time, if you want to leave for italy by september its better to start visa processing from now. Beside my Portugal processing still on and I hope I'd get positive decision soon.
