i would say this applies chiefly in nigeria

it may apply if you're looking to buy regular laptops

if your taste is towards high end, you're better off buying used. my last laptop, a thinkpad w700 was over $4k.manufacturer refurb was $2k.

If you want to play games, the best thing is to build a desktop. Gaming laptops are crazily expensive. You need to spend upwards of $1000 (N200k) to get even decent performance on the latest games.

If you want to game on a budget, buy or build a cheap core i3 or i5 desktop and put the most powerful graphics card you can afford into it. AMD cards tend to be more powerful than Nvidia cards at the same price. And try and stick with the latest generation of graphics cards, import one fron the US if you have to, just avoid old cards.

On the other hand, if you only want to play old games, the latest generation of core i3 and i5 laptops with cheap integrated graphics outperform the PS3 and xbox 360 in most games and you can get them from about 70k. A desktop would still get you better performance for the same price though.

I've not played Hardline but i've seen enuff reviews to conclude that BF beats CoD in all aspects...singleplayer, multiplayer, gameplay, graphics etc. CoD ve been down the pecking order since the MW series. Now they just lack direction and ambition in their games. As for Hardline i hate the whole police and thief concept. The game looks like some glorified GTA V. But i like the fact that EA re constantly working to bring new concepts to BF which is something CoD are clearly lacking. I still feel BF should go back to the WW2 era. Now that ll make sense with Levolution and Frostbite engine

battlefield does not have a superior single player to call of duty and hope u know there are more people playing call of duty online than battlefield right? Just say u prefer battlefield and dats ok.
