Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has been listed as one of TIME magazine’s 2015 100 Most Influential People in the World. This is based on her unique position as a literary success having written books that have been translated into more than thirty languages and a million copies sold worldwide. Ms Adichie is the first Nigerian recipient of numerous prestigious literary awards including the Orange prize, the National Book Critics Circle award, the Chicago Tribune Heartland Prize and the Nonino Prize for fiction. She has, most recently, been shortlisted for the Dublin IMPAC prize, the most lucrative literary award in the world. She is Nigerian Government’s “Global Ambassador”.

I lost every atom of respect i have for her when she showed herself as a Tribalist in the one sided and partial piece she wrote in reaction to the Oba's appalling tribalistic speech against the igbos. She is simply tribalist though i still respect her for the achievement she has made for herself and the country as a whole, however i think she is nothing but a petty tribalist and an attention seeker. Little wonder she is on the same page as boko haram leader.

I expect an article written on the chibok girls and showing solidarity for them to be found by the federal Government. She could write on corruption and the obvious electoral violence and fraud being perpetrated by both PDP and APC in the just concluded elections. She could write on the plight of common man in Nigeria and advise the incomming government on steps to ensure the progress of the country and also she could write on piece to help cure us of the tribalism and ethnitism that had hindered this country from achieving its potentials among the nations of the world.
