I first meal was in my primary 5 but with the help of mum and my first. Complete without any help was in my primary 6 and like I said i was only 10 years old.

I left for the village to resume my secondary school education and kids of 7 would give you good meal so what will a babe of 10 be doing If a babe of 6 will serve u well?

I leant all the pounding and farm work I know today from there before i returned back to Lagos to complete my secondary school education.

We are 5 girls so she rotates the cooking one week for each person but then it was between my elder sister (now married) my younger sister and I. The last was still too small so she sweeps the house.

At age 13 I could harvest cassava, make garri and fufu straight from the cassavas, make palm oil from the nuts and even catch bush meat in the bush by setting traps. Omo my growing up was
