So this porto is as useless as this...they only got their goals by capitalizing on Bayern defenders' mistakes in the first leg...now see the way they are demolished......Useless team...

Surplus to requirements? Hehehehe

Of course Torres was surplus to requirement.

Ballack, Aguero, Costa, Fabregas, Ozil, Di Maria, Essien etc
Where did you pick Torres and Aguero from? Atleti who was still a small club at the time. Those ones don't have the funds to hold on to their best. Fabregas, Oezil and Di Maria were surplus to requirements at their clubs. FACT

AirborneLacer:

These are world class talents that were deemed to be surplus to requirements. They lit up our league and I'm proud of them.

AirborneLacer:

Oezil, Khedira, Schurrle and Klose all contributed to the WC triumph, yet they don't ply their trade in your lawdforsaken league.
They were all born and bred in the Bundesliga. They are products of the BUNDESLIGA. Where are your own products?

AirborneLacer:

Lemme rephrase this.

When your much talked about Burnthisleaguedown league achieves what we have achieved, then you'd be sure to battle with us cool
There's nothing your rubbish league has achieved that is worth shouting about. Report back to me when your league of wastemen are able to dominate a World Cup like the Bundesliga just did

What's your definition of a "Win" or "Loss" btw? So we are clear, when I say win, I am not talking about the individual that has the longest staying power or has it is called the "I no go carry last" Nigerian mentality.

If this overhyped league is on the decline, how has the perfect Bundesliga fared in the last decade? It is just one UCL title in the last 10 years for your almighty league - way to define 'stagnant' cheesy
Story for the gods the gods oo! Why stop at 10 years we might as well go back to 100 years

AirborneLacer:

The EPL has presented more than one rep in the knockout stages for 3 years, get your stats right.

Chelsea finished as semi-finalist in the UCL just last season.
I clearly said for the '2nd time in 3 years' open your eyes dude

AirborneLacer:

Just like I said, our abrupt halt in success was only seen last season and could get better by next season when Man Utd and a well improved Chelsea side are back on the fore-front of proceedings.
This is all probability and conjecture. There is no guarantee that a side that could only manage 29% possession on its homeground would improve at anything.

AirborneLacer:

Lolololol

Lacks a pedigee to hold on to their star players or are shrewd in the transfer market?

You think football is all about holding on to the best stars?

How much did Utd pay for Ronaldo to Sporting Lisbon and how much did Madrid pay for his signature? How much was Bale bought from Southampton by Spurs and how much did Madrid shell out for him? How much did Liverpool drop for Ajax for Suarez and how much did Barca drop for him?

These are the three most expensive transfers in the history of football, classic cases of how prudent we've been in the transfer market and here you are yarning of not holding on to star players.

My very good friend chodu oche nolu onodu.
Shrewd? Your league is the anagram of waste! The one-off huge sales does not make up for the years of riotous spending by way of net transfer and wages.

Tottenham sell Bale but waste money on Lamela, Loldado etc
Liverpool sell Suarez but waste money on Lovren, Lallana, Markovic, Balotelli etc

Pennywise and pound foolish if you ask me. Most teams in your league are only breaking even due to your TV deals.

Your teams lack the pedigree to hold on their star players. That is why Arsenal and Tottenham were Barca and Madrid academies at a point.

AirborneLacer:

Helter-skelter quality of footie that has won more European titles than the Burnthisleaguedown? Rich!
Yes that is why the EP-Fail is always nowhere to be found on the International stage while the Bundesliga and its products continue to deliver excellence

AirborneLacer:

I guess the acquisition of Cesc Fabregas, Thierry Henry, Didier Drogba, Robbie Fowler, Micheal Essien, Eidur Gudjohnsen, Ricardo Carvalho, Cantona, Ole Gunnar S, D Yorke, Aguero, Berbatov, Robbie Keane, Gallas, Cech, Giggs, Ronaldo, Bale, Suarez, Torres, Xabi Alonso etc also didn't improve the league?
In recent times we are not seeing their improvement that's why for the 2nd time in 3 years all EPL teams crashed out at the first knockout stage

AirborneLacer:

Rooney who's a youth product of Everton has garnered more global recognition than Muller.

Beckham who's a youth product of Utd also garnered more global recognition than Goetze and Reus.

Terry who's a youth product of Chelsea shits on the Boa-tanks and Hummel's of your world.

Gerrard is merseyside in and out, tell me how many FIFA Pro XI he made and how many Kroos has made.
Global recognition? Is this Hollywood or Broadway? Lol da fuq. I'm sure to you Nelly is also a better rapper than Nas

What a laughable example

When Mueller, Goetze are showing their grandchildren their world championship medals, how they scored in a World Cup Final and dismantled the best footballing nation in their country Rooney and Beckham can brag about their global recognition. ROTFLOL What outlandish megedefegede

It gets worse! You even included Racist Terry as an example. Boa-TANK is a hundred times better than your racist piece of sh!t captain and he showed it again tonight

Stevie no league title Gerrard vs Kroos. Lmao let him go and convert his FIF Pro XI to a world title

AirborneLacer:

Real Madrid are ready to shell out £50m for Raheem Sterling. Guess which youth system he graduated from and the year?
Yet another evidence of your league's inability to hold on to its best assuming the rumor is even true.

AirborneLacer:

It's not about what we finished with these players, it's about what their valuation turned out to be at the end of the day.

Hazard was snapped up for £32m in 2012, guess how much he's worth today?

That is the beauty of the EPL, grab players at a low valuation and have their price tag maximised within years.

How much do you think your record transfer Javi Martinez is worth in today's transfer market?
This is a laughable example. Like I illustrated before whatever gain you make with one transfer you wind up losing it by making a bunch of bad transfers. Its a disgrace that a league that spends on average almost triple the transfer fees of other leagues combined none of your teams could make any impact in Europe again.

Are you not the clowns that paid £32m for bloody Willian?

Story for the gods the gods oo! Why stop at 10 years we might as well go back to 100 years

Still go back to 100 years and you would see for real that we've been more relevant in Elite Europe than Burnthisleaguedown.

Sample periods are used to lay down FACTS! And the one FACT I have for you is that in the last 10 years the EPL has produced more Champions League and Europa League winners than the Burnthisleaguedown.

Which league is really being hyped about niccur.

A40: I clearly said for the '2nd time in 3 years' open your eyes dude

Well, that shouldn't be a problem given that we've been able to produce an Europa League winner and a Champions League semi-finalist within that time frame.

A40: This is all probability and conjecture. There is no guarantee that a side that could only manage 29% possession on its homeground would improve at anything.

This is a myopic assertion to make.

We hardly possessed the ball in most of the games we played in 2012 yet we won the Champions League, so what are you saying niccur?

What has holding onto the ball for the most period of the game got to do with building a team that would challenge?

A40: Shrewd? Your league is the anagram of waste! The one-off huge sales does not make up for the years of riotous spending by way of net transfer and wages.

Calm down niccur, how consistent has this ''penny-wise pound foolish'' transfers been?

Spurs even ended in net profit that very summer, so what's your point?

Chelsea have been playing the transfer market like a violin, maximizing the value of spare parts and selling luminaries like Luiz et al for staggering sums.

City only had to spend like drunken sailors over the years in order to have the framework of a top side. As a more established side, the spending has tapered.

Need I spread the gospel of Mr Wenger?

We know the market mate.

A40: Yes that is why the EP-Fail is always nowhere to be found on the International stage while the Bundesliga and its products continue to deliver excellence.

The International stage should be a problem for the national team not for the league.

A40: In recent times we are not seeing their improvement that's why for the 2nd time in 3 years all EPL teams crashed out at the first knockout stage.

How can you see their impacts when you're merely viewing with a Burnthisleaguedown tinted shade?

Out of all the goals scored in the PL over the past 3 seasons, foreign imports have contributed 68% of them.

Part of our broadcasting attractiveness is full stadiums, best managers and best players - most who happens to be foreign players.

Now you understand why Sky and BT Sports had to agree to pay us a record-staggering £5billion - the world second most lucrative sports league, behind just the NFL.

A40: Global recognition? Is this Hollywood or Broadway? Lol da fuq. I'm sure to you Nelly is also a better rapper than Nas

This says nada mate.

Uncontrollable factors such as fortune, timing and a supporting cast play a pivotal role in WC success.

Di Stefano never got a chance at the WC title, but would be remembered as a better striker than Torres who won the WC.

Best, Giggs, Weah, Schuster, Cantona are greats who didn't even play at the WC.

Platini, Zico, Cruyff etc never won it but are still regarded as greats. They contributed massively to the game and are global icons.

What could be more nauseating than seeing Goetze and Beckham in the same sentence? Or even Boateng and Terry being compared?

Boateng at 26 and can't imagine of sailing home Terry's achievements.

A player who was named UEFA Club defender of the year in 05, 06 and 09, made FifPro World XI for 5 consecutive seasons and was also named in the all-star squad for the 2006 FIFA WC.

Boateng would be cursing you for ever comparing him with the great John Terry!

A40: Yet another evidence of your league's inability to hold on to its best assuming the rumor is even true.

Your sentiment would run you down if you were to manage a football team.

Liverpool paid £5m to QPR to snap up the then 15-year-old Sterling and are about to make a profit of £45m off the kid and you're talking about holding onto the best?

Brother this is football where every player has a price, that is the business, not a phucking a fantasy manager app.

A40: This is a laughable example. Like I illustrated before whatever gain you make with one transfer you wind up losing it by making a bunch of bad transfers. Are you not the clowns that paid £32m for bloody Willian?

Your illustration is standing on a shaky ground.

Chelsea made £80m just by selling an erratic center-back and two squad players. We invested the sum in top players like Costa and Fabregas, and good squad players like Luis and Remy, finishing with a net profit of £8m.

Tell me those were bad transactions.

Our bloody signing has a place in the Brazilian national team, tell me about your league's record signing.

No need for all these. EPL is more competitive than Bundesliga and I proved it.

I showed 9 times in the last 2 seasons where Bundesliga teams were trashed by 4,5,6 and 7 goals.

Dayo had to go back 13 years all the way to 2002 just to find only 4 occasions where EPL teams were trashed.

That's the only empirical evidence one needs. . . . .although I lost my moniker in the process by becoming too cocky. cheesy cheesy cheesy
