Feraz:
There is an app there called wallet. Just go through it, you should see a place where you can put up your debit card details of which whenever you go to the store to purchase, it buys it for you since it has been registered. I recall putting my card details in it which I used to purchase the Nigerian Constitution, Mass Effect: Infiltrator and others. Also, check your region and alternatively, download quickteller app. It should help.

For music player, it is called I think new music - icon is a smiley face coloured pink. Check it -I really can't recall.

please what app did you use to store your card information. i have the wallet app but it only refers me to other card apps.

It was Wallet I used to store my VISA card information. I do not have a phone anymore if not, I'd have shown you the steps.

okay thanks. i figured it out.

i initially thought you were talking about the wallet that comes with WP.

now to add it to my payment option.

although WP may be limited in apps, since i migrated from android to L630 and now L730. it's bye bye to android platform for a long time.

very stable, virus free and lag free OS. more apps are added monthly and with Windows 10 coming on stream very soon, i no fit shout.

Update: i finally found the app i was looking for..that used to be Nokia Music on the WP7.X versions..thanks @Feraz..its actually called MIXRADIO now..and its complete with audio enhancements that actually did make my music sound better..it has other streaming options and radio i think..but i just needed it for the music player and so far..i am quite satisfied with it..

saw on Wpcentral today tho that the stock music player got some updates..not sure how much that fixes..

also the updates they say bbm got on the beta better make it to the main version of the app soon..this current is too buggy and sometimes takes two tries to open it up when i get a notification..and my phone isnt slow..thats all i have to complain about tho cos compared to the other OS..the user interface is totally bad-ass.

Well, I have used this phone for more than a week now. Have done all I could to make it useable. But there is a whole more missing on the Windows platform that makes this phone seem like a java phone. Anyways, will be managing it until I can get an Android.

Hahahaha. I highly doubt that. Saw a Windows 10 preview and that killed any hope I was harboring for improvement for this device. Besides, after Windows 10, I doubt this device will see any other upgrade again. I mean, it's not like Android where one can simply load a custom rom when the manufacturer has ceased to release updates. Nevertheless, it was quite an experience using a Windows phone.

Try this. I've never used it though. I only had it installed just in case. Click the link to go straight to the app in the store.

Check out "VPN Setup" for Windows Phone http://www.windowsphone.com/s?appid=9463bf5d-f4a6-4917-a374-af1e3ead98dc

Not to derail this thread, but I have an almost new Nokia lumia 1520, red in colour, bought nearly a month ago for sale. It is red in colour and updated up to Windows 8.1. Comes with all follow-come accessories and the carton. Price is N70k, slightly negotiable. Just bought a Samsung Note 3, which is the reason for selling. Please call/sms/whatsapp/viber: 08026445003. Will upload pix as soon as possible. Once again, please accept my apologies for derailing this thread. Thanks.

Another thing I just discovered. One can't make video calls on Windows Phones. If you try, the dialer will ask you to install apps that can do that like Skype. But Skype does VOIP and it isn't the same as making Video calls on the network.

Just google it, download it and install into your computer; then navigate through it. Same goes for the connectify suggested by henry.
