south south cant rule pdp because that will mean pdp will never be able to produce a president. SS and SE are minority and don't have the population to win 1 Like |

That will be a bad move. To keep its national appeal, the party should get the chairman from outside ss and sw or else they will be worse than APGA 1 Like |

Caseless:Muazu need to step down as party chairman. In most advanced democracy,a party leader usually step down if the party fail woefully in an national election. Muazu should resigned from his position because the party has lost faith in his leadership. Pdp needs new leadership if they want to move forward. |

Jonathan's loss was not caused by Muazu. From my own poinbt of view Muazu did very well in mending the damage done by Tukur when he chased so many party leaders out of the party. Jonathan was bound to loose because people were tired of PDP and Jonathan did not do anything to salvage the situation. Changing Muazu will only worsen your position. 3 Likes |

The greatest mistake a man can make is to lie to himself. Untill PDP tell themselves the cold hard truth that for the past 16yrs,they failed Nigerians and are ready to learn from their mistakes instead of all these blame game, They may never recover from this defeat. 4 Likes |

Mynd44: If they go there, it will be very difficult for them to sell the party to people across the Niger. This looks like petty retaliation. Was it not a northerner who frustrated the hopes of other candidates for GEJ to have an unopposed ticket? Have they forgotten that other northerners were denied the opportunity? Reactionary and ethnic politics will crumble PDP to irrelevance. This is not an opposition party at all. They are learners. 2 Likes |

Sunnybobo3: Did the APC asked for the SS and SE not to elect their own into both the house and the senate? Or you want them to zone the positions to the PDP? So sweet to see the PDP occupy minority positions in both chambers for the first time! 7 Likes |

Which of the south south Gov is well respected ? They better allow Muazu to carry go because shifting his burden on another may be more calamitous for the party in the next election. The south south came to poison & polarize the national polity with their selfish & parochial ethnical agitation. They almost ran the economy down . 1 Like |

Islie: Igbo man has no national leadership quality. RIP to pdp, it is finished.............. many igbos see hausa as enemy and yoruba as traitors; how can they rule a national party with other tribes they dont like or trust.? We should not forget that they hate Amechi and okorocha cos he has Hausa and Yoruba friends. 5 Likes |

It is better to have a PDP, National Chairman from a PDP state in the North Central or Southwest ahead of 2019. The States should be either Taraba or Ekiti/Ondo. Active role within the PDP should only be given to PDP states following the electoral map of 2015. Muazu mission as well as other Northerners notably Babangida Aliyu and co is to ensure that PDP field a Northern candidate in 2019. They perceive a threat in PDP ahead of 2019 and want to play an active role as spy for APC. Beware of the Northern defecto crew(Northern Gov) It will be political suicide to field a Northerner in 2019, as no Northerner can defeat Buhari in a poll, I can not say the geopolitical zone to field in 2019 but it must not be a northerner. Muazu is compromised like Jega and must go. 1 Like |

Sunnybobo3:Tell me one single senator from SE/SS in the ruling/majority party. Thats what Rochas was saying dont put all your eggs in one basket. Everybody expect that PDP is going to win the SE/SS but not 100% sweep in two regions. If theres a single senator/rep in APC thats automatic sen pres/speaker position. Worldwide the house always choose a head from majority at seat did you expect APC to choose PDP/APGA as such? 1 Like |

Better yet make the National Chairman and BOT from either Ekiti/Ondo and Taraba, one each. I love the fact that all the others have left the stage. We can now get it right and do as we please. This is just an idea in the right direction. PDP wise men choose no defecto, choose wisely, the choice is yours. |

Re: PDP Crisis: S/south Gov To Replace Muazu by Abugab(m): 9:13am On Apr 27, 2015 |
With this South South thing, PDP will not only be a regional party but will further loose grip of the South East as APGA will dominate the East. Another error in the making like it happened in the last dispensation as the party will loose every form of national spread. This once great party (arguably though) will go down under 8 years with this arrangement. 1 Like |

Sunnybobo3: If you are working you will know what is known as experience. Senate presidency is not for minions. The qualified man for the job is the one APGA helped PDP in pushing out from Anambra. It's not the fault of the APC. If you don't mind you can go carry placard for Maj Alimikhena in APC's headquarter. And please I advise you PDP to shut up for the next 4 years about how APC run their internal affairs since you couldn't do yours well. Okwia? 2 Likes |

When some people said PDP will bounce back in 2019, I said there are no many intelligent people in their circle to turn the fortune of the party around. Imagine the strategic blunder this political neophytes are committing now. Greediness, pride and bigotry will finish these people. Always make wrong decisions. Always learn from their persona l mistake. With this singular action, I join other well wishers to say, RIP to PDP. Shalom. 2 Likes |
