Hi zara, I feel ur pain and its this type of stores that still sell fake. There is a software on pc that will help u detect the true capacity of a msd. Its called H2testw. Its a pc software u can use to check the capacity and the writing speed.

U are super right, happened to me too, u won't know if u don't have files to load on it, before u buy a 32gb card make sure u have a 32gb video file to load on it

I will advice that which ever make you buy, buy from slot...trusted and reliable. I have bought many SD cards and had issues with them in the past. But the ones I bought at Slot are still working... from experience

l bought a power bank from slot and it leaked after a short time. l don't think everything sold by these so called reputable shops are original. l also bought a samsung phone charger from a Samsung shop at shoprite mall but it packed up under 2 months.

Another way to determine how genuine a card is, is to download an app on Google play store called sdcard analyser. It can be use to check on writing speed also because it tell how the card manage its space and how it write and rewrite files. So if a card is fake and they tell u its class 10. The writing speed must be more than 10mb/s or appropriately 10mb/s. So even when u buy a card that claims to be class 10,u still need to watch out if its not class for u are buying. U know, The highest the class, The highest the speed, The higher the performance on ur phone and other device.

Another physical way of knowing genuine qualitites is that, original cards have serial number written on the side of the card.

just be sure to see a symbol like ''10'' inside a circle on the card, that means its a class 10, class 10 are great memory card

Preferably, buy 8gig but from a reliable and authentic shop.

I have been using 32GB for almost two years without any issues. Buy from a reputable store. Das all.

Cheap sd cards are Fake even if its online or street.. To detect Fake use your fingerS to peel the printing on the SD card.. If it easily clean up...its Fake... Original can't be clean up easily...Have bought many for my clients

Its a lie jor.... I once bought. A 32gb memory card from affordables in computer village, it was a fake, I returned it and they did change it, but na still same fake

So affordables na reputable store wey them ontop one building for otigba.. mtcheeew. Wetin do slot, microstation, revive.

Tho most of this reputable stores, when it comes to acccessories, some of their workers compromise for selfish gains. But always make sure any accesories u buy, d seal is not yet broken.

Make sure it's 32gb, not 29.99gb

Quietly travel to the US buy one and travel round the whole States in 9ja to compare if there's any that's similar to it if not then it's original.
