I doubt an infection is causing amenorrhea. Gynecosid is estrogen alone. You need both estrogen AND progesterone in order to restore your normal cycle. Additionally, an unopposed estrogen is not recommended either due to risk of endometrial hyperplasia.

Please, so back to do and request for combined hormone (estrogen + progestrone)
Thanks a million

Doctors in the house am aving sore throat since last week thur av tried out different antibiotics and it very painful I can't sleep as well..pls wah can I do?

Are you self treating? You have pharyngitis. Could be bacterial or viral. How old are you? Sexually active? Medical problems?

You need to have your throat examined. Things it could be: mono (Epstein Bar Virus), Strep throat (strep bacteria), candidiasis (fungus). There are other things but less likely.

If it's viral, then antibiotics will do nothing. There are consequences to untreated mono and strep throat, so please, if you can, have a doctor do exam and run some tests. Strep does require treatment with proper antibiotics. Mono is supportive treatment and other cautionary measures.

Best.

This is a consequence of gastric (stomach) acid reflux. So follow recommendations for Acid reflux:

Avoid spicy, highly acidic or fatty foods
Loose weight if overweight
Avoid alcohol, smoking or caffeinated beverages
Eat at least 2 hours before lying down (at night)
Sleep on an inclined head of bed, or stacks of pillows.
IF he has allergies, avoid allergens or treat with anti histamines.

Good luck.

@xiadnat, pls i have a question for u, i saw an article on water theraphy and decided to try it out, we are supposed to take 5 or 6 cups but i could only manage 3, i discovered that i started having body aches and became fatigued. could the theraphy be d cause? thanks

I am suspecting electrolyte deficiencies or imbalance. Electrolytes are such things as sodium, potassium, chloride, magnesium etc....

What you can do is either to stop drinking so much, or just add or increase your intake of foodstuff that has those electrolytes I mentioned. OR just purchase electrolyte fortfied water drinks such as gatorade. You also have the option of visiting a doctor to run a metabolic profile on you just to ascertain.

Water is good and essential, but try to slow down the intake while you are ahead. The worst case scenario is depleting so much of your electryolytes such as calcium and potassium and magnesium that you go into organ dysfunction such abnormal cardiac activity and consequentially cardiac Arrythmia. Plus many other things that can go awry.

In short, too much water can kill. Be careful with this water therapy

It is entirely up to you. If your bleeding and pelvic pain can be managed, you do not require treatment. But, there are hormonal treatment options, there are procedures that can shrink the tumor, or remove it entirely.

Since you are of child bearing age, the option to undergo hysterectomy is in if you do not want to conceive.

But, the prognosis or "fate" is not horrible so to speak.

You have a few choices. But, why don't you start with the most basic for now and that is: oral contraceptives. Don't self treat, at least visit a Gyn; and get an exam and prescription.

Good luck.

Pls, tell me d best drugs for infection or PID. Thnks

It depends on which organism is causing the infection/PID. Typically in healthy young adults; gonorrhea/chlamydia is the culprit. Treatment for gonorrhea/chlamydia; typically is: azithromycin or doxycycline or ceftriaxone. You should also refrain from having sexual inter*course until complete resolution of symptoms. Your partner should also be treated.

But!

I encourage you to go to a health care provider and get an exam and proper testing and prescription and not self treat.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE OVERWEIGHT FOR EVER My husband used to complain that after four kids I no longer take care of myself that am I the only married woman with kids? He was adamant that his friend's wife has four kids too and yet she looks trim without big belly and smart. I continue to BE adding weight as I never take him serious for his complaint as I felt nothing can be done about it. Until recently when personally I started yo be feeling embarrassed going out with him because I look so big and weigh also I find it difficult to do most of those domestic and office work I do before. I felt bitter but lowered my pride to ask a friend on how she has been maintaining her look and she showed me a bottle of T5fatburners T5 Fat burner pills. The secret is out guys and you can buy the pills by clicking here (all natural and safe) it is the strongest legal weight loss pills. All you need to do is take 1 tablet as soon as you wake up and it will curb your appetite, give you lots of energy and burn the fat off - Do not take late at night as you will have too much energy to sleep. Very simple http:// www.t5fatburners.com.ng/?t_id=SaheedUthman

Did this start all of a sudden? Taking any medications, allergic to something? What triggered it?

Sounds like it could be allergy to something rather.

which particular muscle hypertrophy? heart?... i'll need you to describe the nature of the chest pain dull or sharp or crushing or burning?? when was its first incidence and was the associated pain in the left shoulder and left arm? .. which particular region of the chest? when is the pain more severe, after exercise.. any associated cough or shortness of breath?? for how long have u been gyming. for now u'd have to take a break from Gyming till we figure ur what is wrong.

Not sharp nor burning. The region is at the right hand side of my chest. I started gyming 3 months ago but started getting the pain the very day i started a new workout program.

I dont cough, my breathing is ok.

The xray result said: NORMAL CHEST. R/O Muscular Hypertrophy.

My sleeping position also determines how severe the pain wud be wen am awake. If i sleep facing down then i feel the pains more.
