If he didn't showcase this very product,how would u ve known the down side of the suv? boy, innoson do not assemble, they manufacture cars. I thought he was assembling until I saw things first hand. he said as it is now they can even supply to an assembling plant. they do 100% manufacturing although few parts are imported but major components are locally manufactured here in Nigeria.

I just finished watching the visit of Maku to the plant, and wat I noticed was, the fact that everything is done manually, which gives room for so many people to be employed.

tbh I don't c a reason y we pay taxes in Nigeria. All the revenue from taxes are stolen. A friend of mine was telling me that it took him about 10m naira to set up his gas station in Nigeria. He had to settle this office and that office. And this same thing thrives in all other sectors. I c no reason y a citizen must pay so high on taxes when we get no damn benefit.

This is the 2nd model of suv innoson produced, only God knows how many yrs it took toyota,honda,benz,bmw to get to were they are. Innoson is barely 4yrs coupled with soo many bottle necks face by manufacturers in this country, ranging from power,to the fact that nigeria has no durable steel company to manufacture the steels for our local industries,hence the importation of such materials and payment of duties,transport and clearing, do u still the cost of production will also be the same with that of someone whose factors of productions are readily available. I believe it is one step @ a time, we will get there soon. For all I care and know, cables certified and produced 100% here in nigeria are the best all over the world and so as our other products like tower. Be patriotic my brother, and be the change u want to see in nigeria, let that change start from u.

Bro. In a nutshell. Will you buy an innoson of 5.6 million against a Toyota, Honda. Kia, Nissan of Same price? When you talking of continous improvement, you put into consideration that there is an enabling enviroment to copy, clone or redesign. I think when we talk of patriotism, then the President should lead by example by changing all presidential and goverment fleets to Innoson. Am sure you smiling where u re. Its a good course I must confess, but a lot still needs to be done to convince the consumers. Patriotism does not come in when you want value for your hard earned money.
