i hope there would be a level playing field for this exercise. Those of us holding the AC on the first day have no idea of what to expect, a challenge every other batch but ours won't have. I was hoping that they would at least tell us the exercises taking place that day in our invite.

@Jarus thanks for this great initiative it will go a long way in helping those who have not had Assessment center experience before. I am currently based in Port Harcourt and would love to key into this initiative. If we dont get upto 15 port harcourt interest then I might consider flying in on a saturday schedule.

@Nicer Thanks for the assistance you are rendering in this forum .

@All Prepare very well but in the end I pray the best candidates emerge even if it excludes me . I am more worried about the country having the right hands in the right places than getting into a position that I wouldn't fit properly in. In the end once the country is good you will all have a wonderful life irrespective of where you work. All the best

Hi Nicer,

Thanks for the clarifications so far on this thread.

I have some questions i will like you to respond to for the benefit of all;

1) Will there be another stage after the assessment centre?
2)Will the successful applicants be called for medicals after the AC just as it was done in 2007?
3) Will there be a one on one interview on the day of the AC?
4) Does experience count as an added advantage?
5) Does NLNG mandate successful candidates to see the MD after scaling through the stages?
6) How will our current age affect the recruitment drive considering the fact that NLNG advertised 28years as the required age for recruitment.
7) Will the quota system be used in selecting the will be few lucky successful candidate.
coolWhat is the likely date of resumption for successful candidates?

Thanks in anticipation of your reponse to the inquiries.

Thanks for your response and for coming here to engage with us!

Just the same thing i was thinking. The difference is he/she hits the nail on the head. I was shocked about the guy that didn't receive the invite.

Sharp sharp. "Send your mail, error detected, the guy received his invite".

No ambiguity. Well i guess he's/she's just "nicer". wink wink

JarusHub Mock Assessment is definitely not futile. Testimonies abound from the people we trained for Oando just this week!

Please ignore him. If he thinks in his 'wisdom' such an exercise is useless then, goodluck to him. Like anybody who attends the session has got anything to lose. Mtscheeew.

I wish i had that opportunity many years ago. Perhaps i would have been long engaged in the oil and gas industry rather than wasting years in a goddamn manufacturing industry.

But then Let God's will be done. No complaints.

Guys, can you avail these info for our Mock AC planning purpose:

1, What are the dates for AC in Lagos, PH and Abuja?
2, Is it only one assessment per location or a multiple?

Thanks

Please is there anyone in the house having his/her date as 29th July in PH? Just want to know so that we could possibly get to meet somehow(social media) and share ideas. Drop a message if there is anyone like that here.

Best of luck everyone.

Hi. Apologies but I am unable to answer most of your questions as I'm not on the forum in any official capacity. I'm just trying to help where I can. I can however confirm that your age will not be an issue. The delay in organizing the AC was not foreseen and is not your fault.

We have seen 3 guys that have expressed interest in JarusHub Mock Assessment Center in Port Harcourt.

If we get 5 more, we will come over to conduct in PH.

I'm looking at the weekend of June 13/14th for PH session.

If you're interested, pls call Mattew, my PA, on 09092989936.

We are hoping to finalize this by this weekend so we can book flight ASAP.

For Lagos, our first batch will hold on Sunday, May 31, 2-5pm at our office, 59 Queen Street, Yaba, Lagos.

We have not gotten any expression of interest from Abuja yet. If we get up to 5 we can commence arrangement. Call Mattew on the above number too.

Meanwhile, we're glad that 4 out of the people we prepared for Oando Assessment Center have come back with positive feedback as they passed them.

We also just coached two of them tonight for tomorrow's final interview with Oando.

We think mock sessions help a lot in boosting your confidence and familiarity with what goes on in the real assessment center.

You will be made to practice and rehearse everything you will do on that day, including being divided into groups for group tasks/case studies.

The Chief Coach is a renowned oil and gas worker with over 7 years experience in Nigeria's oil and gas sector.

It seems that the date of your assessment is according to the your state of origin or region you re from.

There will be reimbursement for fares.

Those coming from outside the country, carry proof of your flight booking.

previously you said that there would also be a session this weekend 24th in Lagos, was already prepping for that. Remember that some are having theirs on June 8, and effectively they have just this weekend and next.

Pls join the March 31 session. Our apologies.

This is due to the fact that May 24 did not get many enrollment as many people prefer May 31, so we collapsed it with May 31 session. And from our experience, the many the better so you can have a feel of how group task works.

Call Matthew on the number up there to book, if you hadn't.
