What i would have done was to play Valencia in his wing while squeezing in Mata in the midfield or on the bench, but Rafeal or any other RB must start my match when fit. V.Gaal is biased to me. Some things are easy to say from hindsight or from the side. We have too many small players, and many layers who could be bullied out of the ball. Gaal was looking for a balance, someone who could keep the ball. Valencia was not even bad going forward, he opened a lot of spaces all by himself. Now we have qualified for the UCL, instead of thanking those who played a key role- Val played many matches for us- we are here wishing it was 'Nistelrooy' or Beckham who played our games.

Luke did not always play contrary to what you said. Luke was on the bench in some matches. Luke wouldnt have had a chance if Carrick wasnt injured which paved way for Blind to vacate the left back.
