ArodeTsolaye: Not even 4, she has 6 honorary doctorate while Iwalaiye dude has just a certificate. Jealousy and hate is all manifesting here. The funny thing, Yale is a prestigious school and only attach themselves to the truth so most likely they triple checked everything before awarding NOI the award. The award itself shows how much propaganda Yoruba used their media to try and damage her reputation. Sadly for them, it only worked on illiterates they have in that country, not the educated, enlighten people in Yale, people awards, etc. They forget she's a princess, a real royal princess.. Not only does she have God watching over her, the ancestors and gods of her land is equally watching over her. Their devil wish and PDS will never prosper. She'll continue flying higher. Let them cry their eyes out 1 Like |

egift: Please list the achievements of Soludo in respect to d political atmosphere of then and compare with her own achievement Back then in school, we were taught that before an opinion is said, one must be able able to acquire the right datas then analyze those datas acquired before drawing out your conclusion Please do your findings without bias! I love hardwork and she's a definition of one! 1 Like 1 Share |

wirinet: And while should they debate, on what ground? May be you've not heard of integrity... she has lot of that to protect. She left dis same ministerial position during OBJ tenure and went back to world bank to continue her duty and not Soludo and Oby who are seeking for recognition Were these same people not ministers before, what special tins did dey do during their tenure as ministers? |

klarke: I wonder how Nigerians reason. NOI achievements are for her pocket alone. What are Nigerian businesses benefits from her policies? As at today the economy is down, yet some people claimed they plenty certificates. We just worship people because they have certificates, with no real impact. 1 Like |

Mad people, you think its your yeye university that honored her? This is among top 100 universities in the world who would give honorary degree by merit and not those thieves we have in Nigeria, that once you build a toilet in the school, they land you honorary degree |

udeh3: Yes that's her job, have you ever read your constitution? Section 14(1)(b) of your constitution states that "Nigeria shall be a state based on the principles of democracy and social justice and it declares that the security and social welfare of the Nigerian people shall be its primary purpose" section 17 (3) of the same constitution (and I paraphrase) states that the Nigerian social order is founded on the ideals of freedom, equality and justice, in furtherance of that social order, the Nigerian govt shall create policies that ensure that: (a) all citizens, without discrimination have the opportunity to secure adequate means of livelihood (b) conditions of work are just and humane, and that there are adequate facilities for leisure and for social, religious and cultural life; (c) the health, safety and welfare of all persons in employment are safeguarded and not endangered or abused; (d) there are adequate medical and health facilities for all persons: (e) there is equal pay for equal work without discrimination on account of sex, or on any other ground whatsoever; (f) children, young persons and the age are protected against any exploitation whatsoever, and against moral and material neglect; (g) provision is made for public assistance in deserving cases or other conditions of need; and (h) the evolution and promotion of family life is encouraged. Okonjo Iweala has failed every single one of the above objectives in her duty to the Nigerian people as she has implemented economic policies that have caused mass unemployment and poor prospects for the masses of people. This in turn has created a knock on effect of crime, pro.stitution, degradation or complete lack of moral values and overall destruction of the psyche of the average Nigerian. She is an agent of the World Bank and works to promote the interests of her paymasters. Your own constitution states that it is the duty of govt to provide every Nigerian citizens with the means to enable them live a dignified life why then are you praising this failure of a woman for violating your own constitution? |

poiZon:You want a debate, well you are on. Economy according to any standard dictionary is the effective management of the resources of a community or system. Now let me break down the key words for you 1. Efficient: means to produce result; okonjo iweala has no result to show us with all her doctorates, her economic management is ineffective 2. Resources: money, human resources, mineral resources e.g petrol. I don't think I need to say more on this. 3. Community: in this case refers to Nigeria. Okonjo's job as minister of Finance and coordinating minister of the economy is not to warn Nigeria of coming doom as some of ur fellow appologetics are claiming but to navigate the country away from or through such harm. |

cap28: I believe you only read the constitution, you are still left with the intrepretation... How does making proposal for a business becomes d duty of the finance minister, so you also want d finance minister to wake you up in d morning to go to d office? infact from the constitution you just read now, please point out the duties of the finance minister? |

cap28, igbo2011, kudos for seeing beyond ethinc sentiments. I dont care if it is Segun Aganga (Yoruba) or Okonjo Iweala (Igbo), we cannot be ethnic champions to the detriment of Nigeria. People who do not work for the interest of Nigeria should not be praised. I hope somehow, Soludo gets another shot. We need honest folk who actually love africans to get into power. Not just brilliant people, but brilliant people with character. And I am sorry to say, Iweala has no character and is a sellout. QED. 1 Like 1 Share |
