I stand for an incorruptible integrity like dat of Buhari. Amongst d three candidates, d one with a tract record of integrity should win because there is a lot of serious bills to b quickly passed into law for the interest of d common masses. |

I want an opposition to APC to finally clinch the Senate president seat; this will keep Buhari on his toes. My two cents. |

Saraki didnt do well as governor. He left a worse predecessor. I don't want him as senate President. But who is better than him? Never even heard of Lawan or his achievement |

free2ryhme: I think Kashamu is better than Saraki because he did his illegal business internationally while Saraki defrauded his fellow Nigerians. When the US wants to test a lethal weapon or disease, they don't test it on US soil but in Africa. Part of the reason I respect Tinubu because he invested his loot in Nigeria unlike other thieves who go buying businesses and properties in Europe and America. Free Kashamu and Let Saraki not be allowed to win that seat of senate president. 3 Likes |

I am pained by the fact that NONE of these senate presidency aspirants is worthy and competent enough. Quality will be undermined by the zoning formular. 2 Likes |

luvinhubby: I prefer the way APC is handling this. The leadership wants to be seen not to favour anyone until a clear cut preferred candidate is emerged through the number of supporters the person has; this is already happening. It is far better than what PDP did which was favouring a candidate no matter how unpopular he/she was, over other lawmakers. The difference is that, at the end of the day, APC leadership will be able to see who has more/most supporters of the contestants and give their blessing to him; they'll then prevail on the other contestant with fewer supporters to step down. |

A party formed by defectors will surely know no peace Meanwhile PDP remains more united and focused At the end of the day the PDP slim minority will clinch the president of the senate. Remember this is only within the APC and they have not reached a consensus. 9jah politics go sweet die as from May 29 |

Heffalump: The likes of Ndume that is still facing trial for terrorism and was implicated by a Boko Haram member to be his handler is contesting Well if Buhari can be recycled even after his dismal despotic and sectional antecedents then I see no reason why Nigerians should reject him. |

Re: Saraki, Lawan Supporters Wreck APC Consensus Meeting by Nobody: 2:57pm On May 24, 2015 |
sezsimon: The PDP is more compact and united with 49 senators. At the end of the day the APC vote will be split among themselves. That will leave PDP to clinch the seat. You forgot that this is PDP. APC is still a learner compared to the PDP. Now go back to sleep. 1 Like |
