1. Independent Marketers want to be paid N200bn for forex variations.

2. NOI says the variations are preposterous and need to be verified by CBN before any payments can be made.

3. Independent Marketers refused to pay truck drivers. They claim govt owes them. Them dey pay truck drivers in dollars?

4. Truck drivers allegedly go on strike and refuse to load fuel.

5. According to Ifeanyi Ubah chairman of capital oil, a text was sent to all independent marketers by the association NOT to load trucks until their claims were met.

In all this all i can see so many inconsistencies...a truck driver interviewed yesterday pointed to his truck and said, he has been waiting to load since last week...does that even sound like someone who is on strike?

I can only see a bunch of selfish people who are trying to bulldoze the outgoing administration to pay unverifiable invoices...

They are also targeting the incoming government and giving them a sample of what they will do if they don't have their way...

It's a pure mafia 101 move...to win big, negotiate with your enemy when they are completely disadvantaged.

If the strike continue into Buhari's tenure things will be so bad that they will figure he will be forced to pay them instantly as the country would have been grounded to a complete halt.

It would be business as usual...just they way they like it.

Good points

The black race is definitely incapable of leadership in a broader sense.

- There is absolutely no explanation why Nigeria had more light just after gaining independence from the British in 1960 than it does now.

- There is absolutely no reason why a country that produces 2.5 million barrels a day of oil lacks it for its citizens.

- There is absolutely no reason why University of Ibadan was a much better University few years after Britain left than it is now.

- There is absolutely no reason why all of the lagos skyscrapers was built in pre indedpence era and none built now.

Take a look at South Africa usually considered the "Europe" of Africa, is fast becoming a 3rd world country just 10 years after the whites relinquished power - frequent power outages, high rates of crime, a massively corrupt and clueless president, etc etc

Worse still the devil gave us Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to finish off whatever retrogression we have been making.

Cursed be Goodluck and all those that have contributed to destroy Nigeria. I place a CURSE on this wicked and corrupt man.

I pray Buhari will break the shackles of bad leadership that have charatirized Nigeria in particular and take us to the promise land.

I absolutely agree with you on this one. What's happening in Nigeria is simply tragic. I pray to God Buhari will be the emancipator. If not the pressure will be enormous on him. God bless Nigeria and Nigerians.

Thank you Sir. Ifeanyi Uba(Capital Oil) for releasing 13milion litres of fuel yesterday, that forced Wale Tinubu (oando oil) and Femi Otedola(Forte/AP oil) to follow suit today. These cabals should please change.

I still remember Femi Otedola unpaid multiple bank loans
And also still remember his bribe scandal with SENATOR FAROUK LAWAN.

These are the cabals we are talking about, they are the same people working hard to see that subsidy remains.

In his words(Sir Ifeanyi Uba, "I will not be part of this sabotage against our Nigerian or fold my hands while Nigerians suffer because few people want high profits" (Fuel sales currently for N85 Per Litre In All Capital oil petrol station across Nigeria)

(L-R) Wale Tinubu, President Elect Buhari and Otedola

Those are the dubious fellows holding nigerians in ransom.

Subsidy champions who bought gala & coke for them foolish subjects to hold rally at ojota.

Now they're wouldn't be protesting because they're the devils

Despite that Dangote is the richest man in Africa, he could not help nigeria from sinking...In all, the last hope of nigeria is a Biafran. The one whom they collected all the money his father had in a bank and gave only 20 pounds to start a life. He is a Biafran, today he single handedly saved nigeria from sinking. It is in our nature to succeed, is not pride but gift from God Almighty

A responsible Government should completely take over the distribution / marketing of petroleum products truout the country. These so called independent marketers don't mean well for this country.
