Dear NLdrs, hope you guys are doing great and you all survived this no electricity, no fuel, no bank, no telecommunication and all? This past days has been hell for all and sundry.
My dear ooo, finally, the EEDC decided to have some pity on us and restored electricity power supply around 3:00am this morning....I am super excited.
This little experience has thought me a lot of lessons. Imagine a Nigeria without petrol, without electricity...we are all doomed, hehehehe.
The most confusing part is that our president kept mute while this saga lasted, who knows what he will be thinking.
I hope you are already enjoying the electricity around your area why we wait for the availability of fuel.
You can also share your "No Fuel" experience with the rest of us.....Remain Blessed

D shutdown of d country due 2 fuel scarcity is only possible when there's a natural disaster. Natural disasters like earthquakes and hurricanes cripples a countrys infrastructure thereby limiting a govts ability 2 provide basic services as power, fuel and transportation. Is it safe then 2 say that GEJ was a disaster, natural or otherwise?

The pengassan called off strike necessitated the supply of gas to various gas powered plants to start up their generation. The national grid was energised around 3am. By the time kainji, shiroro etc picks. Northern states will be fully connected later in d day.

Don't forget to keep us posted when they withdraw the light again

..and that would be like 10 or 15minutes afterwards.

I know there is a "LAW" which says a consumer is entitled NOT TO PAY any Bill for a Month wherein the Power Supplier fails to provide electricity for a certain "minimum number of days" in a particular Month.

So, when they bring electricity for 10mins in a day, and do that for that "minimum number of days", you should know these "Cabals" are taking us for a Ride!

The wanton "Evil and Corruption" in this our country makes me sick! sad

And we are blessed with a President who has never shown the "willingness or the conviction nor mental capacity" to tackle them!
3-Days left and counting!
angry angry

Will Buhari be able to do this?
Will Buhari fight on the "people's" behalf?

I will for now, give him the benefit of doubt since his past antecedents says and shows "HE Can" but under "failed democracy" like ours, l hope the "baggages" in the National Assembly will allow him to work for the progress of Nigeria and Nigerians.

Till next week, Please just dont drink their "TEA, APPLE JUICE or even Shake Hands" (that was how Yasser Arrafat was murdered using Israeli operatives!) with anyone you dont trust.
Like Michael Jackson, a glove may come-in handy!

Good Morning folks, have a blessed day!

I think Seun will look into this aspect, in the nearest future
.......but hey, "Moderating" is a "free Service" and you know the Cliche that says "When you pay peanuts, you end up with Monkeys"?, .......figuratively speaking! grin grin

BTW: I think the thread is just a show of how frustrating life can be and how the little things of life that others take for granted in "sane climes", have become akin to winning the jackpot in a lottery, in our so-blessed and dear country.

When situation is beyond crying, you would see people burst into a kind of "laughter" bordering on the fringe of madness!
