Alphaoscar: My friend the civilized world will be laughing at the comments of typical Africans. What those Journalists did there is great and brave. So let me get this straight being "civilized" is to be brash, aggressive and inappropriate right? Mmmmmmmm kind of like how the US And EU are spreading civilization through war... |

Henry120: Many Zimbabweans vote for Mugabe for the fear of their own lives because voting for MDC is a life threatening mistake especially in rural areas where green boys and Zanu PF thugs run riot. The opposition party members are hunted like wild animals, they spend more time in detentions especially during election than outside. At some point there is no single newspaper allowed to publish anything contrary to herald(govt mouth peace) Only one national television Ztv which is controlled by the govt and the opposition are not allowed to air their campaign or appear for any debate. You know jack about Zimbabwe and Mugabe. 1 Like |

Pamcrest: Don't mind the fuuktards. To them the people do not matter, it is Mugabe that matters. They are so intellectually bereft, their dignity is so battered, their self-worth so low and their mind so under-developed due to their useless historic leaders, they themselves see themselves and their kind as of low value. No wonder they have leaders like Jonathan who did not say a word for 3 weeks after 200+ girls were kidnapped by Boko Haram murderers to be raaped and killed, did not say a single freaking, fcking word when 59 under-sixteen year old boys were shot dead in their boarding school domitory while sleeping by Boko Haram, but the same Jonathan was sympathising with France and condemning the killers within hours after 12 adult people were killed by terrorist because of Charlie Hebdo drawings. Those are the kinds of leaders these worthless cretins deserve. The ones that think they, and their lives, do not matter. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Alphaoscar: Which one is worse? Mugabe's refusal to allow democracy to thrive or the lady's conduct. Some of our foolish and corrupt African leaders need to be disgraced and embarrassed in public for plunging their countries into chaos. Look at what is happening in Burundi, a country just recovering from a brutal ethnic war, all because of the greed of one man? Look at Jonathan. As much as we used to criticize him, we still respect and appreciate him for having the singular decency to leave power peacefully for democracy to thrive. Nobody could boo Jonathan. Everyone, including APC supporters and officials gave him a round of applause. 1 Like |

At the risk of repeating the sounds, the Sahara Reporters' approach was rude and less smart. I truly do not know what philosophy SR is built on, but an approach like this won't let you get results. Were the purpose to thoroughly embarrass and humiliate Mugabe and his host, then good job. But if the purpose was to get a productive dialogue and subsequent global audience, then SR obviously blew it due to their non-professionalism. It is only in a dialogic engagement with the 'dictator' that subtle wits can be employed to drive your point not in this monologic flog of tantrums. Most people here cheering the act are obviously oblivion of the tenets of journalism. Mugabe, as well as Sahara Reporters must learn to know when to stop lording it. 1 Like |

Very idiotic western paid propagandist calling herself a journalist. She was partisan in asking him to step down and embrace democracy, there was nothing journalistic about her conduct and should be banned from official presidential engagements in order not to embarrass the country further. |
