Please...Can someone help me finding two package that shipped from USA to Ilorin, Kwara State, NG? Below, I've provided what is showing on the USPS site. I've sent and received many packages using USPS/NIPOST and this has been my first issue that hasn't been able to be resolved relatively easily.
*** RE067430086US & *** RE067430090US
Both items say: departed Lagos on May 20, 2015 (I thought it a bit odd though that I didn't actually get that update until days later on the May, 24th). I've tried tracking from various devices, tried tracking on both USPS & NIPOST, checked that I put tracking #'s in correctly & in the proper spot for international mail, and have even called USPS.
USPS Cust Serv says that they did arrive to NG, that NIPOST has them in transit to final destination, and say USPS will alert me again by email & text msg when NIPOST next updates them with any location/delivery attempt info. We've called to check with the offices in Lagos and Ilorin and walked into the post in Ilorin to make inquiries as well. NIPOST says they don't have the packages....any ideas how I can locate these 2 packages? Could the recent fuel scarcity have delayed transport of the mail?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Pls, can someone help me on this parcel.... it was sent since march 6, 2015, till now... the parcel not deliver and everytime... I tracked on USPS website, it show.... ``Your item departed a transfer airport in Murtala Muhammed, Lagos, NIGERIA on March 14, 2015 at 3:12 pm. The item is currently in transit to the destination`` the tracking now begin with CW.....US. Pls advice me. what can I do? if you know where the parcel is now... pls I need your advice on what to do.

That particular shippment is already in Nigeria. Its tracking on NIPOST page. The LN282989624US is the one that is not tracking at all.

Both gave me the same reply. But you should go to the nearest post office to inquire.

Thanks! i called one of the numbers posted here. The guy said the item has been sent to Abuja. I would have to go to the Biggest P/Office here since the closest to me seems not to have recieved it.

I would advise you send it via Nipost.Nipost parcels are delivered by USPS when in the USA. When in the USA it moves quickly thru the system and you can track from the time it enters to the time it is delivered or delivery attempted. Nipost is wayyy cheaper than any other carrier and USPS is very safe period and very quick at this time of the year when there is not much mail.. If you choose to send it via UPS..DHL or Fedex....they would charge you an arm and both legs ...and in the end drop it off for USPS to deliver.

I stay in Abuja. Would I have to go down to Lagos customs office to clear the phones or here in Abuja. I'm actually confused about this.

Also, is there any way I can dodge paying much? If I use other (free shipping) methods like Singapore Post, would I have to pay such fees? Does Nipost charge like that too?

A friend of mine told me she has received a lot of parcels from all over the world, as in clothes, shoes, even makeup sef through the post office. According to her, she has never lost a parcel but they' re sent with tracked/ registered mail. She uses Agege post office and has no complaints at all about the place.

She says what she does, is to track the parcels religiously online and once it shows up on the Nipost tracker that it has arrived at NGAGG. She goes straight to the post office that same day, if possible that morning.

She collected a parcel of clothes and shoes worth about N40,000 from UK from there on Monday.

I don't know I just find it hard to believe.
I no want stories that touch abeg.

Why not check at the post office nearest to the area addressed on the package.

Funny enough, we're in the same situation. I also want to order some things using Singapore post because I heard it's quite efficient. Na for here the problem fit dey.

The price Fedex gave me to ship to Lagos made me faint, the bill was more than half the cost of my items!!

So, I'm also waiting for the Nipost experts here for assurance before I weigh my options.

I have also heard reports of everything going fine and the receiver not having any problems at all.

On a personal level, I have collected two phones sent(in on package) through NIPOST andI got the package within the stipulated 10 working days and I only had to pay 3k to get them.

I cannot categorically say everyone else has had it smoothly so I cant tell you what to do or what not to do.

Have you gone to your nearest NIPOST to inquire?

I mean the one closest to the receiving address
