Noise pollution from churches, mosques, persistent sounds of horns from motor vehicles, music cd sellers in moving vehicles etc., are such a nuisance indeed. One is entitled to some peace in his/her own home without such unwanted interference.

Like seriously, are these people ministering to their members? You will find their aim is to reach out to people outside the confines of their buildings unless you want to tell me their members are that deaf they need loud speakers to hear


You might not like this man or indeed agree with his reaction, but this is exactly what I plan to do (and I don't mean playing Islamic stuff; I am not a Muslim). By that I mean I have already incorporated speaker wiring points to the four corners of my building project, in anticipation of rebutting such unsolicited noise from these insensitive people. Looks like this man beat me to it

And yes, whilst two wrongs doesn't make right...what gives the other a much more right to continue with their nuisance in spite of this man's pleas?

I believe there are already laws with regards to noise pollution, it is just not enforced.

I noticed this morning that there was a very loud speaker playing different kind of Muslim songs so I asked my brother in law when the mosque started and he said theres no mosque. That the man that owns the house opposite the church (a strong muslim) complained severely that MFM church were disturbing him that they r not the only church around. So since they did not do anything about it he decided to teach them a lesson by putting a loud speaker directly in front of them.
The funny thing is the man sat inside his compound pressing phone.
My sister's church is beside the MFM church, RCCG, Peace and Godwin Parish.
We got to church 7am so I saw everything and moreover I always stay in the children's church upstairs
Kind of funny... It is well cos I Dnt know what to say...

Some churches go way out of line . Some even put speakers outside . For God sake whoever want to listen to your sermon should be inside . Nigeria is not only a occupied by Christian so we should leave to respect other people's religion by not provoking them with our activities . Most of the churches fogey they are even in residential areas . It's not cool . I'm a christian but at the same time I feel the man

That's the funny part of it all. I like the man's zeal and action which will go a long way in raising consciousness to the public about forming public nuisance.

Since our authorities are not doing much to protect the weak and the gentle, there is nothing wrong if the "gentle" defends or protects himself from oppression by some greedy, overzealous and inconsiderate pastors and their gullible followers as long as he does it within the confines of the law.
