Domestic violence everywhere! This kind of news may scare some women from going into a relationship. Women and children are the worst victims of this domestic violence,its getting too frequent. This one happened in Maryland USA,two or three days ago,a 21 year old opened fire on black worshippers in north Carolina USA,simply out of hate. What is happening?

I am not the type that hears one side of a story and get emotional and wet-eyed, and then go condemning the other "unheard party".

But most importantly, RIP to the dead lady. [/b]Its sad that her life was ended prematurely, in this bad manner.


Now to the 'koko of the matter'.

1.) If he was truly on a "sex-offenders" list, it means he had R@PED someone in the past. Period.
Threatening assault to cause or actually cause bodily harm has nothing to do with sex offense.

2.) Any relationship can go bad..... just like it started to jell for both of them at the beginning.
It is how you break it up that matters!

Some people have a way of exploiting the other party and making their life a living hell..... and then break Up. That still does not justify murder but we all need to be careful what we sow, so that we dont reap what we dont want.
Remember, "Love" is a game of emotions
General Advice o! Not saying that is what was responsible in this particular case

Now, the above shows a level of desperation on the part of the man.
Was he ready to kill himself, out of Love for her? He was blown-away by her and his desire for her.

I would think that any adult, without any other "influencing factor", will thread carefully with any lover that is ready to use suicide (and this translated to murder in a second person) ENFORCE and COERCE another person to be with them.

*Why would she not report him to the authorities?
*why did she agree to meet him inside a parking lot..... and in his car?
*Why did she even go to meet him ALONE? Why not go with a friend?
*When the "discussion" was getting out of hand, why did she not just "play it cool" knowing she was helpless
*Finally, what did she say to him on her way out of that car..... That made him pursue her and then gun her down?

Like l said before, nothing justifies MURDER of an innocent person but in other that we all learn from this episode, we need to be bold enough and ask the "relevant questions".
The lesson l as a person have taken from this issue is that: I should be careful not to take any threat fro granted and also know how to manage very explosive situations

Your analysis on the story was spot-on. The lessons I learnt from the incidents are:
1. It is unwise to regard any threat, however minimal, with levity; as mathematicians say: small events sometimes can lead to important and big outcomes- Chaos Theory.
2. It may be in one's best interest to steer clear off individuals, male or female, who tend to react violently and aggressively to situations; let the sleeping dog lie!

If that is the picture of the "oyibo" who killed our sister, then I can comfortably say the man is mentally unstable and look to me like someone who takes hard drugs or a serious alcoholic. He should rot in jail.

Nigerian men, I hail thee.

On this same forum, Nigerian guys would open thread to ridicule and insult Nigerian ladies. Tag them all sort of derogatory names and end it by telling the whole word that they are good for nothing but sex and no one should marry them, then go ahead to profess their love and preference for white girls. You see such comment or post with over a 100 likes and a good number of shares. (These are guys in Nig not like the ones abroad are any better)

But it's not okay for a Nigerian lady who is abroad to date a white guy. it's not okay for a Nigerian lady to date or want to date a white guy.

If she was head bent on dating a white guy, she would not have ended the relationship...the story would have played out in another form. Like he killed her because she refused to let him be after he told her he was no more interested in the relationship. Not like things like this don't happen in a black to black relationship. Ladies...always on the receiving end of human vices and love turned sour. Dating a white or black is not the problem. The problem is dating the wrong person. This has proved fatal over and over and over again through history to the present going to the future.

There are ladies that am so proud of, the ladies that don't make a selection on the sole basis of love. I'm not talking about the gold diggers. The ladies I'm talking about are those that are very much aware of the dangers of making a wrong selection by following their feelings of love because they know love is a great deceiver; it never tells you that guy is:

a serial rapist,

a ritualist looking for woman body parts or virgins,

an unrepentant heart breaker,

a polygamist to the blood,

a violent wife/girlfriend beater by nature,

a player who only sees you as a fresh game

a cool and charming murderer,

a full time psycho/dangerous stalker,

a dangerous misogynist out to kill ladies/women,

and a lazy, irresponsible good looking waste of a fellow seeking to trap a gullible or naïve lady into a parasitic relationship.


Love will not tell you all these because love is very deceptive. Love hides the evil and displays only the glittering aspects of that guy. Who in his right senses will meet a blind man to show him the way when he or she is not blind? Sadly, that's what ladies do. They let love lead the way, love that is as blind as a bat which is why it is never able to detect the wrong and dangerous and life threatening aspects of others.

Not playing down the importance of love but it should be the last factor to consider among 20 or 30 factors, that is, if you want a happy future.
