@op this guy could possibly be looking for a car that exactly match this car description to steal hence bringing about the delay. Just be careful when he delivers as I'm speaking from experience also make a case against him. You can go to command in ikeja and do so, do not take chances.

Inspired Motors, am deeply saddened and disappointed in this story i read about you. Just as I was making plans to contact you for a
possible deal, am shocked and frightened by this report about your biz.

You were making plans to deal with a fraudster? Don't you ask/investigate thoroughly before dealing with anyone especially online transactions? Go and thank your God, because Inspired would have given you high BP when he's done with you. He's a confirmed thief!! Ask around.

You are right, my suspicion earlier was that either he sold off the original car I ordered at a higher price or the car never arrived the shores of Nigeria.
There's also a tendency that he could get another car that looks exactly the same to replace the original order hence the delay. This replacement car could either be an accident car , flood car or even a stolen car.
If it turns out to be a stolen car that he delivers then that will be very risky.
I will take necessary actions like you have suggested to cover myself incase he delivers a stolen vehicle to me since he has failed to scan me the Registration documents of the car.
No peace for the wicked, Inspired autos.
Shame on you.

This was how German007 started. Started with late delivery of vehicles, delivery of wrong(lower) specifications than ordered, fake papers until he stopped delivering and just disappeared. It seems like it's some kind of Ponzi scheme. Those who get out early are the lucky ones, those who come in later are the ones that will be left holding the short end of the stick.

As more threads pop up about his fraudulent activities, he will be wringing his hands and blaming his enemies from the village before he finally does a disappearing act. My motto is once i smell a single whiff of immoral/bending the rules in any person, i can never have any transaction with the person. It shoes that the person has a predisposition to scam.

He needs more customers so that he can pay the OP his money. More people should come and patronize inspiredm. In fact, shout out to PlatinumUk and Wunmi Allen . Your boyfriend is in trouble.

your head dey there grin

I just remembered the whole 'shopclue' saga. grin grin

German007 even went as far as buying accidented/salvaged cars for clients. I introduced him to a friend and it was a massive mistake. he preordered a 'normal' car, german007 imported one fully dented and it was so bad that my friend had to fix the car himself (as german007 refused to refund his money and even threatened him that he risked losing the car).

the number of 'UK resident' nigerians that German007 duped is alarming.

i remember very well how inspiredm started his business on this site. he actually started as a partnership and even his first deal was clouded in controversy (he was accused of rolling back the mileage of the car if i remember correctly), but then he apologised, blamed it on a school boy error, he was scolded by many people on this site and then forgiven and then his business took off in full swing.

how the mighty has fallen . . . .

someone very close to me(who had previously gotten a lovely ride from inspired during his glory days) wanted to get a 2013/2014 honda CRV and saw one advertised on his site. he is well aware of inspired's reputation and even though we were debating whether or not to give inspired another 'try' as he could have changed his ways, i adviced him not to and that he should look elsewhere for the car. I am so glad he did just that.

this is the 3rd person that i know that has refused to do business with inspired and they have gone ahead to source their cars elsewehere which is a shame really as the inspired of old was known for his super clean cars. i know there are many others out there that wont touch inspired with a pole right now and i can only imagine the number of deals he has lost so far.

With less than #2.7M you would get a better benz 350ML from a locally based dealer in Lagos and still have some change left (up to #500k). What is the reason for pre-order if you are not getting a fair bargain?

I thought Inspired is a nairalander regular dealer used by fellow landers and he should be trusted atleast.

Now I give up to any online thing. shocked

There are credible dealers online, but they are rare. You have to carry out a well detailed research before committing your money into another man's hands.

InspiredM and the word 'Trustworthy' don't go hand in hand. They're like oil and water - ENEMIES!!

This is not the first time inspired autos has been implicated in a messy car business deal. The mistake i made was that I did not research about him before placing my car order with him cos if I did, I will never have paid him a dime.he definitely has a stinking reputation.
I only researched about him after his activities became suspicious and lo and behold, there it was, in black and white, all about his dubious ways and despicable services.
By then the wolf has taken all the money and switched off.
In online business, it's is not mandatory that you inspect products physically before you buy.
I shop regularly online. The last car I shipped for my mother was an Audi car, and I bought it online(I never visited the garage, I only went by the specs of the car), the car dealership drove the car themselves to the port and it was shipped to Nigeria. I contacted a clearing agent on the phone who helped ship and clear it at the port and drove it directly to the delivery address I gave them. All this was done in record time without me setting eyes on the car seller or the clearing agent.
This is what I call transparency, honesty and professionalism in business. Why will I not patronise them again.
Inspired auto claiming to be a top online auto dealer, knows this and should be able to render services within the binding contract of his online business. He posts on his website that car delivery is within 31 days.
It's nearly 5months and he is no where to be found, and unreachable, through phone or email, but he was readily accessible prior to collecting all the money.
Is this not fraud. Has he not breached his contract.
It is not about him being able to deliver the latest model car in Nigeria, its about how he goes about it. He probably uses that scheme to defraud people .
I do appreciate everybody that has been sympathetic about this situation, especially people that have been brutalised by inspired autos activities.
It is not about you asking thread contributors to cast a stone if they have never sinned.
Everybody sins, but when sinning becomes repeated and conscious, that person is a hardened criminal, this goes for inspired autos.
He definitely does not learn from his mistakes, and he will continue repeating this conscious act of fraudulence if you continue to encourage and support him.
If you have been maltreated the way he has been to willing buyers here, you will be in a better position to make a more sensitive comment on this case.
It's either you advice him against his behaviour because I will definitely get to the bottom of this case no matter what it takes me. He will definitely not go scot free.
He has had enough.

we can assume that you were not aware of the devices of Inspired even though you we're registered since 2011... let's forgive you. Now we will continue to give you all the support and prevent another buyer from falling victim. So sad when someone begins to play on your intelligence, this people actually think that they are smart. NEMESIS WILL ONE DAY CATCH UP WITH HIM.

Last year when i was still a guest, my eldest bro wanted to do online purchasing of a car. So i came to this section to investigate credible dealers and that was around that time Inspired was getting exposed left, right and center. I showed my brother one of the threads and he said "no, i'd have buy it in PH myself. I've hot temper, this kain lie (excuses) wey that guy (Inspired) dey sell go give me high BP. I fit kill person" gringrin

He cancelled online transaction and bought the car himself to avoid stories that touches the heart.

@ bolded. that isnt f00lproof oh. if a prospective client contacts people that dealt with him during his glory days when he was 100% reliable, he will get glowing reviews.

this madness from inspired started early last year. prior to that, he was okay with a 90% positive feedback score (if not more).

@OP,

You have really exercised patience and done everything within the ambit of the law to give dubious Mr Inspired Auto the benefit of doubt, yet his apparent arrogance and stupidity has clouded his judgement. How on earth can you default on the terms of your business agreement with a client and still have the guts to ask him to wait five months after he has paid you for services not rendered. Men Olodo Mis'Inspired Auto, you fortunate ooooo. Seriously you are just damn fortunate. I guess you have never paused to ponder on the lengths people will go to to get back at you, when you have defrauded them.

Anyhow, continue gallivanting in your ill advised stupid pranks. Continue defrauding kind hearted folks until you will meet your end..... Im so concerned about the apparent boasting of your cohort that you know the IG of police. Listen up fraudster, even the IG will deny you when matter hot for you. If in doubt, ask the officers in IG's office and they will tell you "Oyo lo wa oooo", when matter set for you.

Meanwhile, your matter go land for oga office..... Shebi you now brag about defrauding people on the basis that you know the IG.

Bloody fraudster.

You don't remember PlatinumUK? Ah, that thread ran into 100 pages in less than a few days. She was his girlfriend that used to help him procure cars from US when he was still learning work. She duped him of like $5,000. He was so irate. Went to the extent of posting her pictures, her address, her family pictures, emails from her dad and mum with so many spin off threads. Now, he is the one doing the duping.
