People supporting to the Police should hide their faces in shame.

If you know can't secure life and property why not look for another Job.

The same excuse we keep giving for our military inability to tackle BH terrorists.

The same Police officers will go about shooting innocence civilians, but they can't protect properties Opposite a Police station.

So what do we now have the police force for now?!

To kill innocent civilians and harras okada men buy siezing their okada...that's all they can do!

I think our police force needs discipline! They are so behind.

Nigeria Police as we know it now is a complete joke...

that excuse that robbers have better weapons also beat me...should the police not be the most sophisticated? sad!

We don't have police
We only have
Okada hunter
And boys scout
And whose fault is it exactly?
How much are they being paid to put their life on the line?
What kind of weapons are they being supplied?
Will their families be compensated if they die?

If we at least had helicopters in the sky..at least three..we would have been able to follow and trace them.

Our police force needs to have these things!

We need eyes in the sky!

And don't the banks have CCTV cameras??

Having a CCTV with out a good Data base system in our country is a waste of Time. Don't worry, In 3 days time ,You, I and the security operatives will forget about this Incident.

Four persons, including a teenage apprentice vulcaniser, simply identified as Rilwan, were injured by the robbers who fled through a jetty in the area.

Good one Sir! Lagos, the most populous city in Nigeria, should have at least 5 military police helicopters. Other states should have at least 1, depending on their sizes. It's a big shame on us!

In an advance country, the cp will just jejeli resign cause that robbery was madt....right in front of a station. And something that lasted up to 2hours, no quick response and on a normal day, police normally drive around that area Ooo and there is also navy force located in that area to scare away vandals at the bus stop of where the robbery took place
..make God dy guide us

I have always said it that a successful robbery operation always have two major element an insider information & the police support. After the Lekki robbery incident, the so called Lagos state Police did not realise that it was time to beef up the security around the Waterways in Lagos state even the banks around the Waterways too were lackadaisical...

Seriously i dey vex for this country Nigeria
Re: How The Ikorodu Bank Robbers Operated, Plus Photos Of Victims In Hospital by dotune(m): 1:03pm On Jun 25, 2015
The CP was quick to add that nobody died. If what the eye witness said is anything to go by, then we should thank God that the lady (gang leader) told her members not to kill anyone.

************************************
Meanwhile, what if it was terrorist attack, that's how people would have been killed. Where were the tanks and squadrons that later came to the scene. They were drafted all the way from Abeokuta I guess, maybe that's why it took them 1 hr. Rubbish! Police has failed. All they know is extort motorcyclists and people whose vehicle particulars are not renewed.

If these robbers buried their bullet on your mum's leg and she's in the intensive care unit now and in the news you learnt this happened under the noses of the police what will you say?

Give that police unit a meritorious medal. No?
