LEGISREPORTS NG – Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara has denied knowledge of any meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at this time.

The President is currently meeting with members of the APC caucus of the House with Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila who was defeated by Dogara leading the delegation.

When LEGISREPORTS contacted special adviser on media and public affairs to the speaker, Mr. HassanTuraki‎, he denied knowledge of any meeting.

Asked pointedly to confirm if his boss was invited for the meeting, Mr. Turaki restated that they were not aware of the meeting.

The gaffes are not necessarily from the government at all. Instead, ever tom, dick and harry now wants to create their own version of Sahara Reporters by leaking breaking stories. A lot of people stiĺl believe SR was used by APC to expose a lot that kicked GEJ out, hence every political group now wants its own version of SR. That exactly is the cause of this mad confusion in the last 30 days where people keep reporting rubbish which would eventually be denied by the presidency.

Henceforth, if I were you, I would only regard stories emanating from Femi Adesina and Garba Shehu.
