I learnt there was a case of fire incident at Agip oil offshore facility in Rivers state. Hope there were no casualties?

By the way, why is this thread dying? Does it mean it has not been useful/helpful?

oga scantee, you doing a hell of a wonderful work here..please add me to the list please, an elect-elect graduate, finished with a second class upper, not so keen on oil and gas per say(not that I would reject if it comes) ,just need a very challenging engineering environment with prospective career growth ( of course with moderately handsome pay, commensurate and good enough for a fresh graduates)...'ll be rounding off service in pH by October, no restriction on location, ready to relocate to wherever the land's green..."A closed mouth's a closed destiny"..I need help,...email add's mrbizguy6736@gmail.com..thanks in anticipation

Hello House. I reckon Scantee has been quite busy with a project of late. Other experienced professionals can kindly make helpful contributions.

To the hopefuls, keep praying and perservering. Don't put all your energy in one place though. Spread your network to increase your networth. Get a comprehensive list of good Oil and Gas firms, whether integrated or independent, Multinational or Local. Blast well tailored CVs and Cover letters to their web portals. Get HR emails and possibly phone numbers to follow-up (politely). Be professional and enthusiastic! Meet new people. Scout Nairaland and LinkedIn. Pray, pray, pray. I repeat, PRAY!

You must chop oyel money this year IJN. Amen. wink

There's been another incident -fire or explosion at an Agip pipeline/facility in Bayelsa State today. No further details yet but reports say there were at least 6 fatalities and some other persons still missing.

Btw, i've been following the happenings on this thread for quite sometime, and all in all its great to know that there are nigerians out there who are still very optimistic, and also, its fantastic to know that there are people most especially the likes of scantee, who are ready to help and give advice.

I'm currently awaiting my post ume exams to study Geography. In 4-5yrs time, perhaps the things would have changed for good.
