there is what we called express shipping within china, no express shipping within china that is more than 12 and if maximum then 24 hours....no matter what the distance it is..

normal shipping withing china is 24 and if delay the 30 hours...

but the main issue is processing. some seller take 24 - 48 hours to process and ship out your goods.so with this type of seller it will take long for goods to reach your shipper


suggestion, seller on 1688.com always demand for extra pay called express deliver( meaning to process your goods in short notice of order) duo the charge is very minimal .

i dont think he have any reason to hold down your goods...

some seller most especially on 1688.com take 2-3 days to send out goods, if it happen you buy from multiple seller then wahala dey ooo..

note: most of shipper always like to ship goods at once.

suggestion ; if you order from multiple seller and if some deliver the you tell him to shipp those that are already in with their shiping partner.

TAOBAO and 1688.com are different, TAOBAO is B2C, means business to customers, well 1688 is B2B, business to business, but ALL THIS TWO SITES ARE DESIGNS FOR DOMESTIC ONLY. Not all of the suppliers have alibaba site or know English.
Besides, you need to know how to tell the good products from the bad, as there are many many suppliers there, some are good, and some are not good. You need to talk the details with the supplier before place the order, and keep the talking evidence in case there are some cheat or dishonoured things coursed by the suppliers. This is what I am doing when buying things from there.
After you buy the products, the problem is shipping, the destination on the sites are only Chinese cities, of course you can find a shipping agent to help you, but what if the products are wrong when you got? In China, if the products are wrong or you don't like, you can send them back, then the money will be returned to you, but if for foreigners, how you can return it, as the freight is so much high.
So my advise is if you know someone in China, you can ask him or her to buy for you, Chinese to Chinese, very simple, and you will save a lot of time. If you dont have, you can send me an email and I will help you in my SPARE TIME, as I'd like to make friends, or if you have any business or need some help, you can also send me email, i will help you if I can. we've seen many like this on this thread eloride, awariete etc so when you claim you are in china maybe you start from showing us proof

pls is it true that most of the suppliers on 1688 do not respond to buyers especially we from Nigeria and this automatically does not give room for negotiation? i just searched for a product on 1688 and i got what i wanted, copied the supplier's phone number and sent a request telling him/she to send his/her trade manager ID, QQ ID or Whatsapp ID, and that has been over 5 hrs as i am typing this post and i am yet to get a reply from them. i contacted one of the logistics company specialsed in ordering from 1688 and delivering for their clients, and they told me that they hardly respond and if they do, its on a rare basis. pls can someone who is experienced affirm this for me as i am a newbie. thanks for ur response in advance.
